Really now? Your being denied jobs and housing because you gay or are you just being turned down and claim because it's your gay? Big difference. You have the same right as everybody else under the law.

Can I ask you S/S fanatics this? Will you be appeased if 1-4 characters were made romanceable by the same sex or will you guys still whine like your being oppresed or not given enough options?

You mean the way the anti-gay people are whining because these options finally ARE being included? As a supporter of same-sex content, one could even say "fanatic", since, well, I'm posting HERE aren't I, I would say "any is better than none, more is always better than one". Others might not though. You'll probably get a different answer from each of us. But thanks for giving me something on-topic to respond to, even if your tone is...well, let's just say that I would use a phrase other than "you S/S fanatics" to describe the group that supports this inclusion.

No hostility in my question but infer what you will. Hopefully people will be happy with the options they will get, but like there is for everything I'm sure some will be mad at some things.

Nah, I'd still choose to be gay.  Having dated both, guys are so much easier to deal with.  No PMS, no "omg my feelings" talks.

I think at this point having the thread locked wouldn't be a bad thing. The pointless bickering is getting out of hand. Even those of you who I know are reasonable and nice people are involving yourselves in this. Please, just leave the real world opinions out of it. Let's concentrate on how we can foresee enjoying ME3 more instead.

Considering that we did actually get agreements on a better worded dialog wheel, possible coloured text highlights and that the writing be handled well whatever the final call is, that's been it for about coming up with concrete ideas for implimentation.

In the limited sane moments between the off-topic mayhem, we've concluded that most will be okay with same sex romances if there is no chance of ninjamancing. Also, the option of having colour coded dialogue is fairly well accepted as well. Dialogue definitely needs to be clear, yep.

People seem fairly split on whether same sex romances should be limited to new characters or not. Although there has been no outright demands for existing characters to become availble but there are requests for it. I think we're also in agreement that the entire cast should not be bisexual.

From what I've seen, that's all that's been agreed upon.

Seems like rather fanatical behavior to me. Anybody who isn't "accepting" by your standards is a bigot, you can't compromise on allowing an option at the start of the game, etc.

As for Gianna, I feel like there's so many LIs from the two previous games that any new LIs should be made s/s only. I know it's a big hope, and that it takes resources to develop a romance, but there's plenty of straight only romances so having, let's say Gianna be f/f only or Joker be m/m only would be fair enough. I'm not talking about squad members, like maybe James Vega is bi instead of gay LI, I'm talking about minor characters as LIs with not as big a role in the game. Then, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to make then s/s only since they don't have as much content.

Well if they must add in new romances through minor NPCs, they shouldn't restrict them to s/s only. Especially when you point out Gianni, who expresses minor interest in male shepard in ME2. I think they should include at least one of each type (hetero/bi/******).

The queers are very easy to appease. I am sure 99% of us will be satisfied with just one option, non-committal "WOULDN'T IT BE NICE IF WE COULD BANG EVERYONE" posts on forums aside.

I can't wait to see how the Liara f/f romance develops in ME3. I mean, the dynamics are different now, going from starting romance to established relationship.

I'm curious how they're going to handle 'cheating' Shepards.  Because there are quite a few states that the relationship could be in:

A - Romanced someone else in ME2
  1. Resumed romance with Liara (Doesn't end ME2 romance)
  2. Wanted to "take things slow" with Liara (Doesn't end ME2 romance, doesn't end Liara romance - I think)
  3. Broke off romance with Liara
  4. Didn't do LotSB
B - Didn't romance someone else in ME2
  1. Resumed romance with Liara
  2. Wanted to "take things slow" with Liara (Doesn't end Liara romance - I think)
  3. Broke off romance with Liara
  4. Didn't do LotSB

I'm curious how A1/A2 will be handled, and how Liara will react with A4 people.  I'll only ever personally see B1, but that doesn't mean that there shouldn't be content for the others (even though they're wrong! )

Bears are sexy....but at a distance....like the distance from my tv to the bed or....off topic.

Anyways, I prefer my girls and boys w/o weird chest hair, so I'm gonna go ahead and say NO to C.H on Vega.

I deserve the right to call someone a bigot for calling me wrong due to something which I cannot change and which harms no one, and which I have a right to express.

It's legal, keyword, legal. Job owners can turn me away with little to no legal reporcussions, and it's worse in other states.

Yes, it'll def. be interesting to watch. I'd really like people to be aware that you are dating X person or whatever. I think that "cheating" will have a negative impact in the sense that besides forcing you to make a choice, it might be harder to continue the romance....or maybe both parties will be like "let's take it slow" after they discover you were cheating.
