I confess I'm totally curious about these strictly platonic s/s relationships....Sounds like a good idea, will there be sex?

P.S: Threatening w/ not buying ME3 because of romances...you know you lyinggggg. The finale will be awesomeee!:wizard:

I admit that it will be difficult. But, I won't buy it if there's an option where two guys caress each other.

But...but...it's already sorta confirmed that there will be m/m romance so....you get to miss on this awesome game? *Offers cookie*

Also, why you thinking about it in so much detail? *caress each other*--->full of win:lol:

So you just don't do the option for the snuggles.  I've not done those on any of my ME2 romance Sheps since it does nothing for me.

Now now, he's taking a stand against two dudes rubbing each erotically. I suggest that in order to offset this major blow to BioWare's bottom line, the rest of us take up a collection and buy an extra copy of Mass Effect 3. :wizard:

oh please stop the dramatics.

The dudes carassing each other will be easily avoidable.

Just buy the game, ignore the blatant "I WANT YOU MALE NPC!" option and move on with your life.

It'll probably be about 10 seconds in a 40+ hour game.

Wasn't that the exact wording of Thane's romance trigger? "I want you"

I pity those poor people who had to create those options.

Here's how it went:
Chris Priestly appraoched his team and asked, "Who wants to model the male-on-male gyrations?"

The next day...
Chris returns with a script change, "Okay! We need a drop-the-soap animation. Who wants dibs?"

I operate on the theory that Bioware is run by professionals who are able to divorce themselves from content they don't like, given the existence of racist Shepard and Garrusmance, and the fact that they'd made these options available in games before we asked for them, just not ME.

This.
Also, err guys.......is Evil Chris the one in charge of hot m/m animations? I didn't know that.:bandit:

And that's why you'll never be better than commander Shepard.

If it's so miniscule, why waste your time fighting for it?

He should be so lucky. No, I'm sure it's the same people who do all the other motion capture work. I'm sure they're just happy to be working. Most people aren't freaked out by stuff like that, certainly not ACTORS.:D:lol:

Same reason people fought for 10 seconds of tali and garrus, same reason i'm lazily fighting for a blonde, because those 10 seconds will be totally worth it

I never finished DAO. It was too old-school for me. I didn't find out about gay relationships until later. If I knew, I would not have purchased it.

Why? Because you would've totally gone looking and followed those romance paths to see teh evul gayness?

No, you wouldn't have. Just like I wouldn't follow a straight romance.

From my viewpoint in DA2 I'm in a "world of gay" - see how easy it is to avoid things you don't want to see?

And just for anyone who'll pull out the "Anders hits on my man Hawke! Ew!" card - if you choose the snarky dialogue when Anders gives the line about "getting heavy" last time and says sorry for putting that on you, it entirely avoids the situation where he hits on you. It simply doesn't happen, and it won't happen unless you intiate it. Found this out during a Snarky!Hawke playthrough.

Quite nice for avoiding the discomfort.

See how easy that is?

Maybe that's it. If he knows it's there - he'll be tempted by the gay devil to pursue then be forever tainted by the sight of two men loving each other. Because that's what the devils all about, right? ;)

Huh? It's 10 seconds of *rejection* not 10 seconds worth of romance.

The romance is about ten minutes. And it's totally worth it. B)

I think if BioWare makes the m/m flirt option clue something along the lines of "gimme your penis", that ought to take care of any confusion, don't you guys think? I dunno, maybe that's too platonic...

No that can only end badly..

Most likely with Verner holding a knife over Shepards bed.

You know some idiot is gonna be like "I thought he wanted to inspect it! I didn't know it was *that* way!!!"

Really. How can you get confused about Zevran's massage? Some people really need to grow some brains. He even asks "If the opportunity to move past a massage presents itself..." what did they think he was talking about? :pinched:

@Sian, Nope. That wouldn't be clear enough. Something like "hand approaches private bits" would.

@Cel, why so evil? Conrad would make a fine LI. He just needs to be kept in place...like by a leash or pills....=)
