Joker and Shepard to star in an all male version of Vaenia!

Guess they'll need some fitting theme music.

I never saw this video. But yeah...that would fit for the sheer crack factor.

As long as they don't go laughably improbable "everyone is bi" route I don't really care that much. Although I do find it interesting that it seems Bioware's new policy is the mandatory inclusion of at least several gay/bi party members to facilitate a homosexual romance for each gender. This goes beyond the player's personal choice because it inherently involves other NPCs.

Define new please.  Jade Empire (2005) would like a word with you.

so about Joker romance... any joker romance... I mean... there are so many ways to show your physical affection to each other that doesn't involve any bone breaking acts... if joker can walk and shoot a rifle - he most certainly can engage in plenty of sexy activities... maybe I read too much smut... but he wouldn't even need to take any special medications or anything, they will just have to avoid some of the....more vigorous possibilities.

Picture this … putting in ME3 & the graphics & sound are XX times better, your armor & weapons are that much more frackin’ cool, the battle you just went through on Earth took your breath away and your Shep no longer walks like a gorilla.
Now you are standing on the Normandy, Garrus is making a joke about calibrations, Joker & EDI are arguing with each other, Tali runs by with some thingy that she is working on and Ash is standing there in all her sexiness ready to have that long awaited conversation.
Are you seriously going to be thinking: “Somewhere there is a Shepard doing XYZ?” Really?

Oh, and if there are NPC's that hit on my male Shepard, no worries ... Ashley Williams is back and she don't take no sh*t. Mess with her man and she will b*tch slap your ass back to the stone frackin' age. Posted Image

Joker may be strong enoug for sex with mere mortals, but this is SHEPARD we're talking about! A man or woman capable of taming the wild passions of a platoon of Krogan! If you don't believe me, just wait till I take advantage of the "bi" option in ME3! I'll most my video's on YouTube.

THIS. Exactly this. There could be ways to make Jokermance work physically. You could pretty much follow Tali's romance line-for-line: Shepard says, "No, it's too dangerous! I won't risk your health!" and Joker says, "It'll be arlight, Commander. I want this!" and then Shepard slowly removes Jokers hat, but the camera pulls away just short of finally revealing Joker's haircut....!

...okay, maybe not. But you get what I mean. Jokermance could work. And if he becomes available as an option in ME3, I pray that he's for both genders!

*sniffle* My Shepard is still pining for Ashley. All alone in his room with nobody but Boo and a bunch of fish. :(

That's basically how I feel about it. Even a mandatory 1 female/ 1 male gay option is improbable for every scenereo but making everyone bisexual e.g Dragon Age 2 stretches improbability to the limit. I really really hope they don't go that route again.

Check out this gem of an article. The ignorance surrounding this issue astounds me.

And again, we have proof that panicked speculation does run rampant away from these forums.

And more proof that BioWare should be a tad more communicative, to prevent wild speculation and what not. But then again, they seem to love watching their fans tearing each other apart.

This is true.  Sad but so true.

I think Joker should be fine. With either FemShep or MShep, he could just sorta ...lie there...and that's it, no broken bones. Besides, I'm sure Mordin will find a cure to his disease.:wizard:

Well, Bioware did promise that this will be the best game in the series. Plus, Shepard is so damn awesome that EVERYBODY wants him/her, no matter what their persuasion.

And that means that bioware has a "new policy"... how, exactly?  Considering that Bioware games have included that content for a while now.  And it was also thought about enough to have the voice actors perform some lines in Mass Effect 1 and 2.

So again, minus the sarcasm, this is not new to Bioware. Unless you consider 6 years ago new. (Possibly longer, I haven't run though the BG games to know.)

Whether or not they considered it for ME1 and ME2 is moot because ultimately they did not include it so it couldn't have been their policy at that time.

Wow, so many ME3 players are going to be living in fear that they'll accidentally say the wrong thing to Kaidan and the scene will immediately skip to two guys making out on the bed in front of poor little Boo.

EDIT: I finally figured out the Meer joke in Dragon Age 2 when the sassy bisexual elf in the Blooming Rose said, "HE wouldn't sleep with me, either!"

They can take comfort knowing that Bioware won't pull a consort on them.

I'm going to demand a Shepard's Suicide Squad mass orgy before the big end battle. It will add to my immersion. Oh, in passing, I hope the battles are cool too. Can't wait to find out what my Awesome Button will do.

EDIT: that was mean of me, sorry.

Anyway, I'll try to lay it out one more time then I'm off to the gym.

Bioware desides at some point to include s/s options to the romance subplots of the games.
As each game comes along, they dicede to include it or not.
KOTOR, no.
Jade Empire, yes.
Mass Effect, no.
DA:O, yes.
ME2, no.
DA2, yes.
ME3, yes.
SWOR, can you even romance NPCs in that ?

Obviously I know no more than you do as we are not Bioware staff, but from my point of view, and working in software development being exposed to cut features all the time, I can easily seeing this as a case by case call.

I sometimes wonder how the voice actors go about their roles, I'm assuming they record their various conversations together...and you'd think given human nature, they would implement some body language during their recordings...I would love to be a fly on the wall as Meer lovingly reaches up and gently strokes Keener's cheek as they play out their new love scene...:D

It's not as improbable as you think,  I was rather certain most social circles have at least a couple of people who don't embrace the heteronormative life style.  Besides,  it's not like these games are meant to be taken as 100% realistic in the first place.  Besides allowing all players an oppurtinity at deeper character action is important, and if things bend probability just a tad it doesn't particularly matter.
