(sigh) So y'all actually did it Bioware. You turned Shepard gay. Congratu****inglations. You have now ruined the Mass Effect games for me and have lost my dollars on this franchise and as this has so far been the only one of your games I've played you have lost my dollars for all of y'alls future games.
Why couldn't y'all have gone the route Valve did with TF2 hinting @ gayness in a few characters even maybe Shepard without having forced it upon us as a possible canon side to him? @ least with the way TF2 does it though hinting can lend to the gamers own interpretation. I honestly do not care if y'all perma ban my account for these comments and not being politically correct but I'm now done with this franchise and forum as a whole.
And I sincerely thank y'all from the bottom of my heart for ruining a good franchise for me with this decision. (clap clap clap clap clap clap)
And welcome both Bioware and EA to my list of blacklisted game companies. Y'all can keep Namco Bandai company on my list. Though @ least with Namco Bandai they can easily work there way off by making Tekken 7 not have a offline level cap or patching 6. Y'all Bioware and EA have no hope to ever work your way off and get any more of my $$$$$.

DA did it. Origins I mean and there was a lot more sex seen in that one then DA2. Just sayin. DA2 was make out on bed and then fade out to clothed players.

Bioware desides at some point to include s/s options to the romance subplots of the games.
As each game comes along, they dicede to include it or not.
KOTOR, no.
Jade Empire, yes.
Mass Effect, no.
DA:O, yes.
ME2, no.
DA2, yes.
ME3, yes.
SWOR, can you even romance NPCs in that ?

Obviously I know no more than you do as we are not Bioware staff, but from my point of view, and working in software development being exposed to cut features all the time, I can easily seeing this as a case by case call.

Yes, they should also add f/f for both ME1 and ME2 (kelly + LOTSB and initial Illium kiss) so YES for ME1 and ME2, just not m/m.

Oh, well that's your opinion then. Strangely, I still don't see anything wrong with it. And most of the backlash seems to be quite localized to a few people concerned about implementation, and even fewer people who are just freaked out completely because two dudes doin' each other is just "disgusting". I'll give you the same advice I've given others—don't knock it until you've tried it.

Hmm, I'm always suspicious of stereotypical protest letters, especially when they try to convey a southern accent in print. If this letter is legit, you are very very sad. What about thoee who would find it disgusting to find fs/s encounters? If going by your standards, that should works the same way (my wife sees this conversation annoyingly funny). Would seeing a m/f be half-disgusting? Seriously, just don't make the choices where you have that encounter, you make the choices anyway. It really isn't that hard and everyone gets the win/win.

EDIT: Bioware, please fix the formatting of these forums, I hate losing what I type and placing text in another format, then copying and pasting it back gorfs the reply.

I do want to understand where you're coming from on this so you're going to have to help me on it.

Clearly from what you've posted, you won't be partaking of any of the male s/s options that end up coming available.  That's fine, there's currently romances in game that I wouldn't touch with a 20 metre cattleprod.

So, with this added content being accessible through clearly worded options on the dialog wheel and with some coloured text as a back up, since you wouldn't be going near it and so would essentially be just vaporcode on your game, is it still so unbearable?

I could understand if things were something really out there where  you're not able to avoid seeing what bothers you and it's pretty much giving you screenshots of the content for loading screens, but as an option that's not right out dancing on the screen in neon but just needs some specific actions from you to access, help me see through your eyes how this is a problem?
