You have now ruined the Mass Effect games for me and have lost my dollars on this franchise and as this has so far been the only one of your games I've played you have lost my dollars for all of y'alls future games.
Why couldn't y'all have gone the route Valve did with TF2 hinting @ gayness in a few characters even maybe Shepard without having forced it upon us as a possible canon side to him? @ least with the way TF2 does it though hinting can lend to the gamers own interpretation. I honestly do not care if y'all perma ban my account for these comments and not being politically correct but I'm now done with this franchise and forum as a whole.
And I sincerely thank y'all from the bottom of my heart for ruining a good franchise for me with this decision. (clap clap clap clap clap clap)
And welcome both Bioware and EA to my list of blacklisted game companies. Y'all can keep Namco Bandai company on my list. Though @ least with Namco Bandai they can easily work there way off by making Tekken 7 not have a offline level cap or patching 6. Y'all Bioware and EA have no hope to ever work your way off and get any more of my $$$$$.

Perhaps. We'll see how they handle it. If it appears that my crack team of killers in space all seem ready to get naked for me regardless of species or gender, I'll probably just pass.
Maybe Bioware will release a mod so that your character will look fat, sloppy and limp, and the NPCs will simply pass on you as a "possibility".

Has the ME dev team (NOT THE DA TEAM) given you any reason to believe that a bunch of men are going to be waiting on your bed, naked willing and ready? [/quote]
Did you note that my post included, "Perhaps. We'll see how they handle it."? Since there have been some melding of styles between the ME and DA series, it's not unreasonable to speculate that they might go with the merry band of Shepardsexual LI's in ME3. If they don't, I'll be more likely to buy it. Frankly, I've scarcely been able to grit my teeth through the heterosexual "romances" in recent Bioware games.

As funny as this mental image is, I'm thinking it's going to be unlikely. I know a lot of people would like to see the all-bi option and all existing LIs bisexual, etc., but I think that's unlikely too. It's all speculation at this point, and if there's one thing I'm sure of, it's that the ME team will handle this with great care. They're not going to do anything that will truly hurt the game, they're just as committed to it as we, more so even. They want those characters they've been nurturing all this time to have a satisfying arc. I really don't think anything they will do will cheapen the characters we've all come to know, regardless of what they ultimately decide to do regarding specific implementation of s/s content.

Which would be more elegant than a dialogue wheel that suggests everyone on the ship is ready to drop trou for Shepard.

This is actually a good thing to discuss—what aspect of the straight romances would we change? This thread is about wider options, and not JUST about same-sex stuff.

I believe The Electric Six released a video some years ago that would be perfect for the satiation of your femSheps desires, especially if she likes Abraham Lincoln.

But the "Fight for the Love" thread was closed! We waited for so long to hear about same-sex romances, and it was closed in favour of opening this thread. I mean, I get it, because "Fight for the Love" was about advocating for the inclusion of same-sex content, and now that same-sex romances are confirmed, this thread is supposed to be for speculation.
Please don't close this thread. This is the only place where we can discuss same-sex relationships in Mass Effect, and it's a topic that I enjoy very much. If you'll recall, "Fight for the Love" had its share of "stay on topic" reminders, but we were still able to continue that dialogue for nearly a full year.

As much as I've said I'd like to see more friendship dialog, equally I would like for those options to still be available if one's romancing a particular LI. As it was for me at least in the games, once I hit something that did advance the romance, I was kinda cut out of any side dialog.

Hmm, I'm always suspicious of stereotypical protest letters, especially when they try to convey a southern accent in print. If this letter is legit, you are very very sad. If this was meant to be a satire of the stereotypical homophobic bigots, it is in poor taste. I'll actually take a swing at this one... I've only played ME2, but I would like to see more romance options with NPCs. Others have mentioned this before. I thought the Kelly romance was one of the better ones, actually... once I ignored the little voice in my head that kept saying, "Isn't this workplace harassment?"

I renew my call for MShep to get shot down. Dammit, every female should not be hot for this guy. I'd also like to see an LI that would only really be open to romance if you're the 'right' personality for them - LIs that are vocal about being compatible with Shep only if Shep's Paragon, Renegade, or even pragmatic/Neutral. Nothing annoyed me more than being able to romance Morrigan in DA:O with my goody-two-shoes mage. If people want to complain about bad character writing, that's bad character writing, IMO.Siansonea II wrote...
