Personaly, given how they are described in the Codex, I think they should look like Jabba the Hutt.
And yes, I know there was a Salarian female in Revelation, but I believe it was befor the design of the races for Mass Effect was finalized, so that one has probably been retconned already.

Not coming from Zulu. He's trying to start an argument for the lulz. The phrasing of his OP makes that painfully obvious.Skarwael wrote...

That's why Jabba the Hutt comes to mind.
Besides, it is stated that there is like 10:1 male to female ratio. That suggests serious dimorphism.

Maybe they have a 1 child policy like China had, thus leading to the killing of females as they wouldnt be carrying on the family name like the males would.Zulu_DFA wrote...

RETCON. Every time you use that word a kitten dies.retcon
Technically, it is a retcon, but there is nothing wrong with it in this case. Revelation was a tie-in, coming before the work on the universe was complete, so no way around some discrepancies.
Thermal clips - that was baaaad. But here... no kittens in danger, sorry, you missed the point again.

"Is"? Oh wow.
Removing heatsinks more frequently than once the mission is over is a huge retcon. This is why kittens die. You kitten slayer.Thermal clips - that was baaaad.

I've read and re-read the wording of the OP and I just don't see how anyone could argue over this. It's all a matter of speculation, anyway.

Shot answer: No.
Long answer:
Salarians reproduce in an aploid-diploid kind of way, keeping a 1:9 ratio of Females:Males. That means that when a dalatrass (salarian matron) lays egges a few are fertilized and hatch as females, most are not fertilized and hatch as males.
Only female eggs actually take any kind of genetic code from the father. So no, salarian fathers can technically have only daughters, for the sons only have genetic code from their mothers.
