Has anyone ever got Hawk to become the Vicount. I thought I was on the path to be the Vicount but it just stopped after I completed the two quests. I thought when I met with Alister I might get it but nothing. I never saw why you had to meet with him.

You only become Viscount if you support the templars at the end of the game.

Why would Alistair have anything to say about who becomes the viscount in Kirkwall? He is the King of Ferelden.

Yes I found that puzzling as well because you do have a convo with him in which you can suggest that you be viscount.
