If gay or lesbian romance is forced upon me or I have to thread every convo super carefully to avoid it, then really no.
Forced upon you? You're serious?
I understand his reasoning, Homosexuality is like absolutely contagious. I kissed a girl and I'm like totally bi now.

Play DAII and then come back and talk to me.
I'm against even straight romances if they are forced, like FemShep and Jacob. Or FemShep and Kaidan. Or MaleShep and Ashley. You have to be an ass to cut them off.

But so help me God if I see Garus hitting on my ManShep or Tali making a pass to my FemShep I will take a drum of gasoline poor it over my enraged body and light myself on fire to purge the anger and disgust from my soul.
So yeah, to put it bluntly I am supportive of s/s LIs as long as they are new characters. I just don't want to see returning characters ruined just so some lonely guy in his basement can ****** to pixels.

I'm so stoked though. Gay and bi folks are finally getting something they can more keenly relate to.

Hell yes, I approve. I've supported the "Fight for the Love" movement and I'm damn proud to see it succeed. I'll get around to doing an ME3 run with the new option at some point but for me personally, I'm straight so I'll stick with heterosexual romance options for the first few plays.

Yeah, your sig kinda gave that away.

Not that I would go for it. Ladies are the way for me. Still, the option being there will make this member's big brother VERY happy.

Gotta be careful... just watching gays bein gay can turn you gay.
At least that's what Fox news tells me so it must be true.
I'd better cut out my eyes to be safe.

I know, right? My friend was watching Game of Thrones and there was a gay scene. She likes girls now. This scares me. Better lock myself inside the house to retain my heterosexuality.Hathur wrote...

It's an organizational banner. I haven't bothered pulling it yet because I figure it deserves to bask in the glow of success for a bit longer.

That is old info I am afraid, Casey Hudson has twitted saying that there will now be "new" LI's. As to the topic in hand, I don't have a problem with same sex romances in the game. The only slight concern I have is that Bioware may confuse close friendship with romance. I have a male shep that is great buddies with Garrus, they have a close friendship but it is just that a friendship and nothing more. I want to be able to continue this close friendship with Garrus without it ending up all erm squidgy if you know what I mean.

The homophobia is strong in this one.hawat333 wrote...
Absolutely not.
Especially if it's thrown at us like in other BioWare games.
Why make the majority of players feel uncomfortable for being straight with characters like Zevran jumping and hitting at us?
Hate to break it to you, buddy, but you're not in the 'majority'.
