I'm all for it, so long as it's with new characters. Nothing worse than a ret-con to a character.

If gay or lesbian romance is forced upon me or I have to thread every convo super carefully to avoid it, then really no.

Forced upon you? You're serious?

I understand his reasoning,  Homosexuality is like absolutely contagious.  I kissed a girl and I'm like totally bi now.

Play DAII and then come back and talk to me. :kissing:

I'm against even straight romances if they are forced, like FemShep and Jacob. Or FemShep and Kaidan. Or MaleShep and Ashley. You have to be an ass to cut them off.

I really wouldn't see a problem with it, I can finally have my pan-sexual Xenophile Shep get all the tail he/she wants.

I'm completely supportive of s/s relationships in ME3. As long as the returning LIs sexualities are completely untouched, I'm happy.

But so help me God if I see Garus hitting on my ManShep or Tali making a pass to my FemShep I will take a drum of gasoline poor it over my enraged body and light myself on fire to purge the anger and disgust from my soul.

So yeah, to put it bluntly I am supportive of s/s LIs as long as they are new characters. I just don't want to see returning characters ruined just so some lonely guy in his basement can ****** to pixels.

Hell yes, I approve. I've supported the "Fight for the Love" movement and I'm damn proud to see it succeed. I'll get around to doing an ME3 run with the new option at some point but for me personally, I'm straight so I'll stick with heterosexual romance options for the first few plays.

I'm so stoked though. Gay and bi folks are finally getting something they can more keenly relate to.

All I can say is "what the **** took so long?". But hey, I'm happy it's FINALLY being put into this. BioWare did it for us in Dragon Age: Origins and I'm pleased to see them give us the option in ME3.

Not that I would go for it. Ladies are the way for me. Still, the option being there will make this member's big brother VERY happy.

I won't do them (at least not on my canon playthrough), but I like that all sexual orientations will be represented. It's a step forward. However, I will be pissed if they make EVERYONE bisexual.

Gotta be careful... just watching gays bein gay can turn you gay.

At least that's what Fox news tells me so it must be true.

I'd better cut out my eyes to be safe.

I completely approve, i won't try it myself but for those interested knock yourself out, why should a key-demographic be excluded from content that they payed for.

I know, right? My friend was watching Game of Thrones and there was a gay scene. She likes girls now. This scares me. Better lock myself inside the house to retain my heterosexuality.

It's an organizational banner. I haven't bothered pulling it yet because I figure it deserves to bask in the glow of success for a bit longer.

I'm confused. What's the difference between the two conditional approvals? "Yes, but with no old characters / Yes, but with only new characters"? Looks like heads I win, tails you lose.

I neither approve or disapprove, in fact I'm as apathetic to this as I can possibly be. Hopfully Bioware's idea of s/s romances isn't Garrus and Kaiden going up to male shep and basically saying "Hey Shepard, I like d*ck now..."

That is old info I am afraid, Casey Hudson has twitted saying that there will now be "new" LI's.  As to the topic in hand, I don't have a problem with same sex romances in the game.  The only slight concern I have is that Bioware may confuse close friendship with romance.  I have a male shep that is great buddies with Garrus, they have a close friendship but it is just that a friendship and nothing more.  I want to be able to continue this close friendship with Garrus without it ending up all erm squidgy if you know what I mean.

Absolutely not.
Especially if it's thrown at us like in other BioWare games.
Why make the majority of players feel uncomfortable for being straight with characters like Zevran jumping and hitting at us?

The homophobia is strong in this one.

Hate to break it to you, buddy, but you're not in the 'majority'.

I'm not really a big fan of romances. Usually I just play through them to see the content, but my canon characters don't have a romance. That said I do think it's nice to see Bioware being more inclusive with their characters.
