Besides Dexterity and Cunning, which other attributes should I focus on? As for Dexterity and Cunning, which one should have more points, and how many more points?

Some Constitution doesn't hurt to not be as fragile, but played a certain way it's not needed. The general concencus is Cun all the way after you got enough Dex to equip the best daggers. Mostly because of the benefits of the assassin skill "Devious harm" for higher critical damage/skill crits. Even if you go full Dex for better attack/base damage/crit rate, still have some 40 Cun to open chests and disarm traps.

But what about Willpower? And which should be higher: Cunning or Constitution?

Okay....this helps a little bit. But I need opinions from people who have played as Rogues.

It's a lot of stuff. What part of the guide are you talking about?

Likely the part titled 'Attribute Allocation', where I answer every single question you asked?

Okay. I see. Thanx! I'm just wondering wouldn't dexterity be higher since it affects rogue damage?

Have a read of Arelex's DW Assassin guide, will help you build an absolute monster.

@JFarr, cunning affects critical damage and as a rogue can and should be reaching 100% crit chance, the benefits of increasing base dmg by 0.5 is less than that of increasing crit dmg by 2%.

Has anyone worked out damage comparison of dex vs cunning when using assassinate?
Would be an interesting chart. There probably is a sweet spot, since 300% crit damage of a low base is terrible, but high base and only 150% crit damage is also not so good.

I just did a quick approximate calc.. it seems that 'the sweet spot' will depend a lot on the base damage of your daggers.
I did the calcs for a level 20 (77attribute points) DW, factoring only the armour (ensalin set and stealth boots) and the passive from the assassin spec (assuming duelist was second spec rather than shadow). This means that once you include the critical damage from accessories etc. it might be a little different.
Anyway, at lower weapon base damages (28) the assassinate skill favours pumping more dex to increase base damage (62dex, 40cun)
At higher weapon base damages (42) it favours more cun, around 48dex, 54cun.
This means that at act 3 the combination of more attribute points and higher base damages may favour dex to be ~42 (which is the minimum required to equip daggers) and all the rest into cun.
This is pretty interesting as it means that the dps maximisation (e.g. not factoring the x11 base of assassinate) may be close to the assassinate spike dmg maximisation unless I screwed up my calculations somewhere/the extra crit damage from champion armour set changes things a lot).

Yeah I just did it myself and got the same results.
20 Base damage and beow prefers maximum dex.
40 Base damage prefers even stats.
60 Base damage and above prefers maximum cunning.
