You know, stuff that makes absolutely no sense.
So why'd you just take that final battle off the deep end into lala land like pretty much every JRPG ever? Just said 'screw it'? or did you guys just want to make the final battle look cool and say 'to hell with explaining anything, let's just make the evil sword blow up and never refer back to it.]
Or was the disparaging comments made to JRPGs made by some previous designer who got replaced?
Or, *drumroll* does Varric really like JRPGs and he exxagerated the whole thing. [aka standard explanation for anything ridiculous ever]
I'd love an answer.
Edit: oh, and please, no 'it's a fantasy game it doesn't have to have logic or make any sense' responses. There is a such thing as trying to create a setting that adheres to some sort of internal consistency. If not, then I humbly demand gremlins, fairies, and eskimos in DA3.
