Well shouldn't all the LIs be bi then in this patch?

Since you guys don't have to use it if you don't want too?

Makes sense. And if your in a wasteland without internet or Xbox Live you probably aren't asking for such things anyway.

Actually I live out in the country where the best internet I can get is the crappy AT&T mifi. I get to pay 50 dollars a month for a 5 gig internet cap.

I am just one of the few lucky ones that has a relative in town that lets me mooch off of there internet  Of course that is a long ways a way, and I have to spend the night if I want to download anything with significant bulk.

But whatevs.

If there's going to be a toggle for s/s romances, can we get a toggle for straight romances as well? Try talking to Jacob as femShep and you'll see what I mean.

Ok, you make a point about internet access.

So, how about a friggin' toggle in the options when the game starts?

A toggle or friggin toggle? That job would be extremely taxing for the code'ers i think - or take up quite a bit of time.

This would have been an acceptable solution to the omission in ME2. ME3 should ship with it.

This is getting ridiculous. I'm about to say f*** it and ask Bioware to REMOVE ALL goddamn romances. Seriously this debate is only ending in the devs detracting resources because 1 minority wants to be represented. Simple solution GET RID OF IT ALL. If I have to sacrifice my canon romance with Miranda so that this childishness can stop I'll gladly do so. It's getting to the point where I don't even want to peep the forums while I'm at work.

Why don't s/s shippers just get over it. if you want to pursue your same sex do it in reality. much more satisfying.

More time than adding gaymances in to begin with? Easy in comparison.

99.9% of people have internet I don't think that's a reasonable argument.

The best argument is we are dealing with a company here they arent going to do stuff for free.

Well you can make up statistics all day long. Doesn't change the fact that internet usuage VARIES greatly from place to place. Some places get lucky and get unlimited usage. Others don't and get capped internet. (Usually from comcast)

To make such a demanded thing like this Download only is incredibly stupid.

that's the most ridiculous absurd thing I've read in a while, This whole S/S romance, straight romance etc shouldn't matter how other People role-play their game. you might as well ask that skin tones be DLC because I don't want to see any white Shepards or that FemShep should be DLC etc etc.

It really shouldn't matter.

While I agree, I am not willing to sacrifice all my different romance saves. I want to see em play out. Besides, if it's not romances, they'll argue about something else. Like how renegades get cheated.

Incredibly weak argument. I can say the same thing for the regular romance options. Now you are just insulting people. Having S/S options in the game does no more harm than having any other type of romance.

Sooo... Bioware should go to the trouble of making DLC to compensate for the inability of people to act in a mature manner and just accept that they don't have to choose a s/s romance if they don't want it.... they should make DLC just because a fringe group of simple minded individuals act like children and are afraid the "coodies" they might catch if they accidentally romance a character they didn't intend to?

Brilliant.... we pretend a segment of society just doesn't exist.

Tell you what... colored people make me uncomfortable. Their skin is a different color from mine.. that's not right, they're different... different is bad and scary. I demand Bioware remove all the colored people in ME3 or provide me with DLC that makes all humans caucasian like me. Seeing non-white humans in ME3 will offend and frighten me.

I'm sure that sounds reasonable... yes?

How dare people not share the same moral, social, and cultural values towards gays as yourself? HOW DARE THEY? Their opinion is worthless right?

Do i look like i come from a fringe group?
Am i acting like a child?
Am i acting immature?

Leave your insults at home and respond again when you can do so in a mature way.

Valid point, but your sexual status is much easier to conceal than your pyhsical status.

I'll make the same argument I made earlier.

Being angry at someone for being homosexual is like being angry at someone for being short.

I didn't play DA2, but DAO did a very good job of incorporating s/s romance with out it being a pain. You talk to a character a lot and they start to come on to you? Just say no thanks and move on.
