I'll never fathom the fear and vitriol segments of our society have towards homosexuals... it doesn't impact our lives in any shape or form to acknowledge their existance and treat them fairly. It's so frustrating to witness such primitive thinking and behavior over such a non-issue.

Sigh.

I'm sorry, I must have missed where a quota for characters in RPGs was established. Homosexuality is not the same as race and never will be, in fact I knew a few African-American individuals who got very offended when people tried to compare the two. The fact is that not all cultures or peoples are as accepting of homosexuality as your, nor does everybody believe it isn't a choice. If you want to play the politically correct card to add some gay LIs to the game you should respect those who disagree with homosexuality. You don't have the moral high ground here either.

You haven't seen the various threads about this? Some people have a extreme view point of this and some have a lighter view point of it.

Do you honestly not see what you did there? you insulted the other side. In your post about how the other side is jerks for insulting your side... you've insulted them.

I don't like the toggle idea. I'm not super opposed to it but I think its a pointless addition. If Kaiden being gay means you don't like Kaiden anymore then fine... I don't like Miranda and I'm fine with it. I don't need to agree 100% with all the characters.

This I could be on board with; segmenting romances into heterosexual as standard and homosexual as optional, however, I do not. That just reinforces stereotypes of heterosexuality being the 'norm' and homosexuality being abnormal or uncommon.

How about this Bearcut.

A. Turning straight character into gay ones disrupt the continuinty.
B. It was far too easy in DA2 to sleep with the same sex. it was like pay any compliment they want in your ass
C. If we are talking about "realistic" romances than this whole bi/homosexual thing shouldn't compose of our entire crew. At most 1 or 2 dudes.

Why? We had characters who never showed any interest in same-sex relationships athough they had plenty of chances,and you want them changed now,after 80+ hours of ME 1&2. No,I truly don't think you should feel insulted.Not one bit
