On your tune: I like it. Needs a bit of cleanup (it gets veeeerrrrrry busy in the middle, I think the white-noise percussion might be the cause), but very recognizable for an 8-bit variation. You should do this more.

Thanks for the encouragement, but as a former judge, I can tell you it'd need a LOT of work to get OCR-worthy
Also, as a former judge, I can say that they're all EVIL! (I keed I keed) :]You're right, it totally gets really busy/cluttered. My real chiptune buddies have told me there's a 3-note polyphony max, and this track has something like 10 channels of Magic8bit going on at once, some with multiple chords. And I'm also cheating and using effects (delays and such), so that's why I'm sure this song is a total disgrace to them, haha. Good ear though! I am thinking of doing more eventually, so we'll see how that goes!
