I'm running on patch 1.2 (PC) - Its not newly installed.

When you exit an area and access the map during daytime, the Gallows icon that you click to travel there is missing.
I've gone back to an earlier save but i still have the same problem.

Also, this may just be unrelated, but solivitus was missing from his store whilst i was visiting the Gallows with another Hawke but i thought it a harmless glitch at the time

I would really appreciate anyones help as i cannot continue playing the game as it is.

Do you have Merrill yet? If no then get Merrill, the Gallows are contingent on that plot point.

I am half way through Act 1, using a warrior Hawke, and have this problem too.

This isn't my first playthrough, so I loaded a different character and the map in that save game seems to be fine. Also, all of my "companions" have been recruited.

You need to accept either the "Enemies Among Us" or the "Wayward Son" quest. Once you have, the Gallows location will appear on your Kirkwall City Map.

I always get first sacrafice to get the gallows to open and don't grab the other quests till later. So I know that works as well. Anything that sends you to the gallows to report in should do it. Yes? No?
