When bad guys insult male Shepard or he's on duty with a superior officer, his acting is more appropriate than Hale's. Hale seems to take everything personally. In ME2, where Shepard loses his military ties, Hale really took over in my opinion.

I suppose that's true. Hale seems to play emotion even if there is little emotion to be had. Over-emotioning ...can be bad in that case.

Granted, Meer's love speak leaves a bit to be desired, but what the hell is up with male Shepard's facial animations? Do VG programers spend all day trying to make the perfect artificial woman and ignore animating the male faces? When he tells Tali that's he's willing to wait... creepy.

In a way it may balance out with the fact that female Shepard walks, dances and sits like a man.

Lol she really does! I have that dress that kasumi's DLC gives you...and you see up her dress...very often because of the way she sits. <.<
But, to be fair, I'm openly bisexual in a 4 year relationship with a man and even I sit like that...It's just more confortable. =/

That being said while I was standoffish about this at first I realize that I am just going to play the same male hetero shepards I've been playing so its not really going to matter that much. Liara and I will have our blue children...or Mirand and I will make super human children. Or Tali and I will make children who need environment suits. Or Ashley and I will make religous supremacists.
