If my mage character equips say, Cinderfel Gauntlets (+20% fire damage), then casts the Flaming Weapons buff spell, will the effect be greater? Or does that spell (along with Frost Weapons) only operate on the mage's spellpower?

Hmm, I guess I won't know for sure unless I read the script for the spells. But it's occurred to me that I can cast Spell Might before casting Flaming/Frost Weapons to increase their effect, then turn off Spell Might.

Any hints about where the script is located or named? I haven't used the Toolset much.

OK, I looked around and found the script. Is it ok to copy/paste script details here? Here's the script section for Flaming Weapons:

case ABILITY_SPELL_FLAMING_WEAPONS:
{
// determine power
float fPower = MaxF(1.0,MinF((GetCreatureSpellPower(stEvent.oCaster) / 7.5f), 10.0f));
eEffects[0] = EffectEnchantment(ENCHANTMENT_FIRE, FloatToInt(fPower));
bPartywide = TRUE;

break;
}

I don't think items with +% Elemental Damage increase your spellpower, so it would seem that the answer to my question is "No". Just use Spell Might before casting Flaming/Frost/Telekinetic Weapons.
