[Shepard Lives]

Oi, not all batarians are complete assdouches.
The Codex flat-out says that every remotely decent batarian is forced by their government to remain in batarian space, while all the terrorists, mercenaries, slavers, xenophobes and barmen are allowed to run free and wreak havoc in the galaxy.

How about a galaxy-weary, disillusioned batarian? A Knight In Sour Armor, basically.

He initially tries to attack Shepard for the Arrival genocide, but stands down and joins the Commander once s/he tells him why it had to be done. From there, an uneasy but eventually deep friendship forms.
I don't know what his background could be, though.

Anyway, if we do get a batarian squadmate he needs to have a distinctive voice.

1. Collector (that would just be awesome although unlikely)
2. Bad-ass asari who wears sensible armor
3. A Human Male who is more interesting then Jacob (Vega may have this covered)
4. Geth, there just so cool.

I think we're probably going to get a total of four new guys.  This way, even the folks that killed everyone will have a squad of six.  Here's what I'd like to see:

1. I'd love a Female Turian on the team. I know BioWare typically doesn't allow more than one member of a non-human race on the squad, but the did for DA 2, maybe they'll let us have two Turians for ME 3. It can happen! Also, I know I'm supposed to hate Batarians, but I don't. I hate the actions of the terrorist groups, but I don't hate the whole race based on those actions. I think it would be awesome to have a Batarian squad member. Think of the party banter!

Aside from the ones we already know about:

1. Mordin Solus / Urdnot Wrex (One or the other, biggest dilemma in gaming history)
2. new character
3. New character

Since Garrus and Tali can die, maybe there will be optional characters that can take their place.

we're already alittle flooded with characters as it is lol.

depending on Mordins squadmate status we need another salarian, most underrated race in the ME universe those guys are great. salarian spec ops guy, give him a cigar, a beret and shoulder cape.
