I seem to remember the Aarakocra of D&D way back when it WAS D&D. That was in 1981 or 82 as I recall. WoW's taken that too huh?

Well for those of us that were unfortunate enough to be born at the end of the 80s, it was something relatively fresh. And that's kind of where Warcraft gets its charm anyways isn't it, stealing from other sources and making it their own lore?

I cannot remember the name of the bird race that was announced and its driving me crazy, I know it began with an "R".

Oh to be sure, that's not a knock on you, I don't expect most people to even know that, more to Blizzard. Just as Gob Bluth would say...COME ON!

I've seen that said before, but he took out a Krogan bodygaurd on his first mission. Can he really be that terrible?

I want the Kryptonian expy. A being that can no sell a Krogan or Vanguard charge, even if only in cutscenes.

I hope there will only be one more new character (so there is room for returning characters). A female character. Basically the counterpoint to James Vega who from what I gather is a straight lace Alliance type. So I hope she's a mercernary. Like a female version of Zaeed... minus the scars and facial deformaties. Would be a cool bonus if she were a Turian but I wouldn't get upset if not.

Things like this gets released, and Casey says otherwise on Twitter...I guess we should believe it straight from the lead designer.
New squadmates and no LI option would be ...different.

As the shadow team shut down the machine at first stairs/platform bit, then at the second shoot the satellite on top, blow up the fuel tanks and shoot down the drones on the right side of those linked platforms before entering the base proper, oh .and don't turn off the alarms. He should be alive and well in the Engineering section of the Normandy after that

There are several mini-objectives on Virmire... Disrupt communications, destroy the satelite uplink, destroy flyers, and disable alarms. You have to do all of them for Kirrahe to live.

In addition, when you disable the alarms, you will be given an option to just leave them off, or trigger them at the far side of the base, using them as a distraction. JUST LEAVE THEM OFF. If you use them as a distraction, Kirrahe will die.
