Let me go on the record and say that i love Dragon Age 2, it is really great. After buying it on the PS3 i played and finished it three times in a row once as a warrior, then a rogue and finally a mage, but the one thing that disappoints me is when i play a female character all the armor is so bulky and covers every inch of her, I wish there was sexyier armor, the type that uncovers her long legs and flat stomach, low cut to show of a little clevage.

You know the type of armor that you could imagine would cause the male warriors and yes even some female ones to hesitate and underestimate her, just long enough for her to turn them into bloody pools of goo, the only armor in the entire game that comes close is Isabellas custom armor.

Is it just me or does anyone eles out there wish the female characters could look sexy in battle?

To be honest i'm on my fouth play through now and i've resorted to wearing only gloves, boots and a helmet, so she does look sexyier getting splattered in blood in her underwear, and i swear some times the enermy does seem like it hesitates that split second it takes her to appear behind them to stab them in the back.

That's coming in the new Blooming Rose Armor DLC.  It features Sir Frederick's codpiece and Lady Hollywood's chainmail teddy.  It'll only cost 400 Bioware points, coming next month!

I think there's a difference between what you're calling feminine and most women who play DA call feminine.

I personally loved the look of the female Champion armor. I've only played for mage and rogue, so I can't speak for what the warrior one looks like, but I think both are pretty feminine and sexy.

I could be wrong, but I think most women who play DA, myself included, don't want their characters to run around in underwear looking armor - its unrealistic, and kind of objectifying women. I guess if they had male armor where men ran around in their underwear, then it would be fair, but still unrealistic.

By "underestimate" you mean gut her, right?

The combat in DA2 may have turned into an unrealistic and highly-stylized mess with strawberry jam explosions but at least they kept the armor practical. The female body and walking animations improved dramatically to make them more sexy but in battle I like my female characters like I like my males - protected.

I personally like the badass kick-butt armor, even for my FemHawke. ;)

As a woman, I'd rather look like a fighter than a prostitute when I'm in battle, thanks.

Mind you, I *do* still want to look like a woman. I want my armor to be covering a female shape, but I want to be COVERED by the armor. Armor is for protection, after all.

And it's really annoying to have the looks of my armor thrown off when the helm and the chestpiece don't line up due to a huge gaping chasm cut to show cleavage. It just looks stupid, especially when the helm is obviously intended to rest on the gorget of the armor... something that magically vanishes on the female's version of the armor on occasion, to make room for the cleavage dive.

OP, if they ever release a tool set, you will absolutely get all the Frederick's of Thedas armor you can handle! I dunno if it will be available for the PS3, though, so you might be out of luck there.  :/

My goodness... I sure hope there's appropriate padding in there to protect the analog sticks and the awesome button.  Image IPB

I guess I'll have to give this as something DA2 got right.

In all seriousness, armor is not supposed to be shapen to cover a woman's breasts, that's the worse possible scenario you can do, as that leaves an indent straight through the chest a strike/arrow can easily target, which is bad.

As for revealing armor, yeah no.

I prefer gigglepuffs myself, but [boobs] are fine.

And Isabella is wearing the world's most supportive pirate sports bra, of course.  Plus they're fake boobies, best money can buy.  And if you've ever been in a strip joint, them puppies don't move much, even when you give 'em a good jostle.

Not that I know anything about that, of course.  Image IPB

As far as I'm concerned, Bioware can make them as flat as a washboard.

There's always the Nexus.
