Not me. When she's around I'm usually looking at her booty. (well not surprising since we're both pirates)

Sidebutt definately replaced Morrigan's Sideboob this game around.

Isabela already looked ridiculous going into battle in just a chemise, do we really need more? This isn't a JRPG ffs.

Personally I'm glad we don't have "stripper" armor. It breaks immersion a lot, imho.

It would only work in the context of a new stripper sidequest DLC.

As a woman, I'd rather look like a fighter than a prostitute when I'm in battle, thanks.

Mind you, I *do* still want to look like a woman. I want my armor to be covering a female shape, but I want to be COVERED by the armor. Armor is for protection, after all.

And it's really annoying to have the looks of my armor thrown off when the helm and the chestpiece don't line up due to a huge gaping chasm cut to show cleavage. It just looks stupid, especially when the helm is obviously intended to rest on the gorget of the armor... something that magically vanishes on the female's version of the armor on occasion, to make room for the cleavage dive.

OP, if they ever release a tool set, you will absolutely get all the Frederick's of Thedas armor you can handle! I dunno if it will be available for the PS3, though, so you might be out of luck there.  :/

As a female ex-soldier, I'm inclined to agree with Shazzie.  I don't really give a hoot about showing my breasts because I'd rather they weren't stabbed, shot or impaled.  A helmet that doesn't protect the ears and the back of the skull at C1 is worthless.  Boots you can't run in are worthless.  Armour that doesn't cover the whole sternum and thus shield the heart and lungs from pointy things is worthless.

Yeah, make the armour feminine.  Curves are a great thing.  Make a breastplate that lives up to the name.  Just make it armour first and foremost.

I'm now thinking of those skimpy costumes you usually find in MMO's for female characters.

Let me go on the record and say that i love Dragon Age 2, it is really great. After buying it on the PS3 i played and finished it three times in a row once as a warrior, then a rogue and finally a mage, but the one thing that disappoints me is when i play a female character all the armor is so bulky and covers every inch of her, I wish there was sexyier armor, the type that uncovers her long legs and flat stomach, low cut to show of a little clevage.

You know the type of armor that you could imagine would cause the male warriors and yes even some female ones to hesitate and underestimate her, just long enough for her to turn them into bloody pools of goo, the only armor in the entire game that comes close is Isabellas custom armor.

Is it just me or does anyone eles out there wish the female characters could look sexy in battle?

With all do respect, I hate everything you just suggested.

When in battle people should be completly covered in combat appropriate attire, regardless of gender.

Please note I like looking sexy as much as the next lass - even in battle :-)

Having said that, and at the risk of being a complete killjoy by dragging facts into it, breastshaped breastplates, are/were a bad idea, because the breast-bulges on a breast-shaped breastplate would create a concave channel just over the wearer's breastbone.

This means that i.e. blows striking one's .... attributes on the inner halves will naturally get deflected into this channel. And the inner halves is where a lot of blows would fall. For example, anyone subjected to i.e. a powerful upwards thrust would be in danger, much faster, as the fact that the channel is even there tends to direct the thrust towards the middle of the chest and up beneath whatever throat protection is being worn, unlike a flat, guy-shaped breastplate. If you were up against an experienced opponent, he or she'd probably use this exploit to get you very dead, very fast.

This is why a lot of medieval, female armour actually wasn't all that feminine, breasts were basically bandaged flat and into submission before chest armour was donned.

Maybe there are some texture or armour hacks at the Nexus to facilitate the sexy, though? I quit playing as a mage because I *loathed* the outfits, so I do definitely know what you're talking about. I hope :-)

I can probably do a texture mod for runed-maille-on-skin if I have time, but not promising anything.

He might be thinking a pirate is someone that would sleep with anyone at the near drop of a hat, whether man, woman, or crossbow.*

*And for the record, I'd be just as disgusted by the shallowness of a male version of Isabela.

Really, it is just the hats that are awful.  I don't know who in the art department thought that was the way to go with headgear.  Well, I admit I'd like to wear a decent set of pants now and then too (one of the great things about being an Arcane Warrior in DA:O).
