1. The combat. Felt like Mortal Kombat.
2. classes having weapon restrictions. Really? A warrior can`t even hold a dagger?
3. No choices. Just the illusion of choices, really. No impact on the story whatsoever.
4. Static outfits for companions. Seriously, nobody (except Aveline) changes their clothes in ten year (make that 7 years. We didn`t get 10 years after all, even though the developers said I would get ten years). Same clothes, unless you have sex with the person. Wich kind of makessense, since sex happens fully clothed anyway. Best to change them afterwards.
5. The elves. They look like some damn anime characters. Either go full anime, or don`t. Tossing in some anime chic into a game that uses western-style animation, makes her stick out like asore thumb.

Spent 10 minutes on the game, didnt like anything of it. It annoyed me so much that I just dont hate myself enough to give it a chance. I rather put toothpicks in my eyeballs than launching this game.

1. The characters (Fenris gets double points, but I love all of them.)
2. Improved / faster combat (DA:O feels slow and clunky, the shuffle, ye gads the shuffle!)
3. Framed narrative (I enjoyed Varric's 'steering' of the story at times).
4. Hawke (Diplomatic, snarky or agressive, Hawke always delivers.)
5. Act 2 (Favorite out of the three, so much happens, it's like the top of the roller coaster.)
Dislikes :
1. Overused recycled maps (There's no need to explain.)
2. Disconnect when it came to Meredith and Orsino and the ending (Could have seen / interacted more with them.)
3. Framed narrative (See what I did there? I didn't like the 3 year time gaps, dropped me out of the story a bit.)
4. Enemies everywhere (Out of thin air even!)
5. Inventory seemed useless (So much junk, literally. And only rings / necklaces to hand out to party members.)
I could go on with both lists. My like list would certainly top my dislike list, though.

Like:
1- The character creation menu has more customizing options.
2- The combat is faster.
3- The friendship/rivarly system.
4- Each companion has more than one quest.
5- The three personalities in the dialogue wheel.
Dislike:
1- Even though the companions now have more than one character quest, we have less ways to interact with them (when compared to Origins) overall.
2- Kirkwall's static nature and the fact that we have few NPC interactions.
3- Most (if not all) of the romance options have very troubled pasts, leaving the players that prefer a normal realtionship lacking.
4- The lack of persuade options.
5- Enemies that appear in waves (and fall from the sky, LOL).

- Talent trees are an improvement, albeit still needing work.
- Party members and their quests.
- Friendship/Rivalry system is an improvement.
- The restyled Qunari.
- Act II's storyline.
Dislike (Ordered this time):
1) The Act III railroad and the resulting ending... or lack of one.
2) The combat. I went back to Origins afterwards. The combat just felt FAR better (much prefer the slower speed). DA2's just makes me feel annoyed constantly in Nightmare, or makes me feel like a spectator on Normal.
3) The forced character. Wether it's the voice acting, or the plot, it feels like i'm Hawke, not my character. Hence when I replayed it, almost all of my decisions were exactly the same. With the Warden, I could make a completely different one every time.
4) Waves, especiallly Assassins in waves. Even more so, waves that appear out of nowhere.
5) Kirkwall's bland nature coupled with repeated environments.

1. Streamlined Combat system. Combat still felt tactical, but it was far more streamlined, faster, and more fun. No more shuffling and no more tedious pointing and clicking.
2. Talent trees. Gone are the days of me taking useless abilities in order to get death hex or curse of mortality.
3. More reactive characters. No more talking to my characters to only have them tell me to come back later because they are calibrating. Again. For the millionth damn time.
4. More personal story. No more "An ancient evil must be stopped! You must save the world!"
5. Characters with their own personalities and own goals. Now they feel like characters instead of just arrow cushions I carry around with me that occassionally give me a peck on the cheek or tell me a funny story.
Dislikes:
1. Combat waves. Oh my good lord do I hate this.
2. Jumps in time. With the way the narrative is framed, and how it randomly jumps ahead, it feels like three bite-sized stories rather than 7 years of a personal story. I'm left feeling as if the real story never happens. Furthermore, not letting me play through what seemed like important parts in Hawke's life (travelling on the ship, working as a mercenary/smuggler for a year, etc) was jarring, and really made me lose my immersion.
3. overt mage/templars. Seriously, I felt like the writing team had written "Mage/Templar controversy" on a baseball bat, and were beating me over the head with it every time I played the game. I get it. It's a hot topic. Can we get back to my character's story now?
4. Forced ending. Really? No matter my choices, I get the same exact ending? That annoyed the crap out of me. I mean, write the story you want to write, but don't pretend I have a choice in the matter when I don't.
5. My family. Seriously, I'm sorry but my family was not written well. My brother was an annoying, whining git who seemed to want to eat my face off no matter what I did. My sister was a whining, spineless doe-eyed wimp, who did nothing but talk about how terrified she was that the Templars were going to do horrible things to her, which makes no sense for someone who had successfully avoided the templars for eighten some-odd years, and my mother was so forgettable that I literally forgot her damn name halfway through the game.

1. A voiced protagonist has much more personality.
2. Storytelling. I like that it was a personal story that evolved into something bigger.
3. The small scale. I'm sick of epic high fantasy.
4. How party members interact with each other outside the party.
5. Characters in general. I couldn't care less about my companions in Origins. Secondary characters were more fleshed out than in the first game. They were actual characters instead of talking props.
Dislikes:
1. Copy paste
2. Enemy waves
3. Kirkwall is too small.
4. No natural evolution of the city as the years go by.
5. By having a certain character appear in the Exiled Prince DLC, they ruin the surprise at the ending of the game.
It was actually pretty hard to make the 'dislike' list, which is a good thing since it was so easy to make one for Origins. Overall I thought Dragon Age 2 was flawed, but a huge improvement over Origins.
That's actually one of the things I like. It's just a simple story of a simple guy trying to make a name for himself and then he gets involved in conflicts that aren't his own and completely change his life.

1. No sense of purpose. In
DAO you were trying to stop the Blight and save the world. In DA2 you
just run around doing dirty jobs for cash until, in the end, the world
goes to sh*t anyway.

- Good graphics
Dislikes:
- Reused maps
- Limited maps. I wanted snowy, icy areas, lush forests, little villages, etc., like what we got in Origins.
- Lack of item descriptions and unique item names (fifty Ornate Belts, lots of Torn Trousers, etc.)
- Lack of party armor customization
- No one notices or cares that my Mage!Hawke was a Blood Mage. Really, really dumb. "Let me just slit my wrist and get that Raider for you... pay no attention! Don't yell at me Fenris! Don't chastise me Anders!"

* Voiced protagonist (including great voice casting).
* Fast combat movements.
* The new design of the skill tree.
* Referencing to the past actions in DA:Origins.
* Interesting party banter.
Dislike:
* Story - There is no proper interconnectivity among "Acts" and no proper continuity among these "Acts". The story lacks proper main goal and due to that there is no feeling of accomplishment at the end.
* Combat animation - Most of enemies are blown into pieces, for any class. No proper animations like slicing an enemy using a sword etc
.
* Reused environment - used the same environment settings over and over again. So the player won't get that "fresh feeling regarding the environment" when enters a new area, because he/ she has seen that environment setting hundreds times before.
* Static environment - Places in DA2 won't change with the time. They look the same in all of the "Acts". Also Kirkwall unable to give the feeling of an active city to the player.
* Companions - There is a lack of depth in each companion when compared to DA:Origins. The player unable to establish attachment/ bond with the companions. Specially because most of the dialogs based on/ related to "Companion Quests"; unlike in Origins where there are plenty of dialogs that are not attached to a specific quests, where the dialogs reflects the background/ personality of companions. This is due to poor writing in DA2.
Edit: I can add more to "Dislike" section, but since it is about "Top 5" I have only mentioned the above five.

- Improved graphics, particularly the reduction in hand size and the generally better proportions; also the increased efficiency of the graphics (DA II ran noticeably better on my now-somewhat-outdated PC than DA:O did). I'm not too fond of some of the style changes, but I think they were as a whole improved.
- The skill trees, with the upgrades and what seemed to be more passive abilities and sustained abilities.
- NPC banters and cutscenes were very good, including that expressions seemed to be improved.
- The family changing to resemble your character was cool. I liked that. My character would've stuck out like a sore thumb if they hadn't.
- The NPCs, though I would have liked to get to know them better. Still, as of yet, DA:O and DA II are the only games where I haven't just felt annoyed about not being able to create a whole party.

- Voiced PC. Dialogue wheel. The two seem to go hand in hand, and I'm not quite sure which I loathe
more. Probably the dialogue wheel; the paraphrasing is a real hindrance
to roleplaying in my opinion. The character voice also is, but not
quite as much of one - it is a real killer to replay value, however, and leaves it up to chance whether the voice will fit the character one has in mind.
- Not being able to change NPC equipment and weapons of choice. It limits replayability to me; I like to switch things up if I play through again. For instance, I might want to have Fenris as a sword and shield fighter or archer to be different next time, or Aveline as a two-handed warrior - it would make things a bit different - but I can't. It's also really annoying to me not to be able to give them armour, particularly when you have an excess of perfectly good armour sitting in your inventory. Especially all those armours keyed to a different class that you can't wear, but would be great for whichever NPC...
- Combat. Waves of enemies, enemies with truly absurd numbers of hit points, and a bit too fast - although I did think DA:O was a bit too slow, so I think there's a golden middle somewhere in there. I also really disliked how the numbers got so inflated. I would much rather have seen it use the same system as DA:O, or if it already was, still act the same. The attack bonuses were so high as to be meaningless - give me something where +5 to attack means something rather than where +50 to attack means nothing. I don't like activated ability/cooldown based systems to begin with, but I don't expect that to change and DA:Os was easily the most tolerable of those I've seen.
- I really didn't like the friendship/rivalry system. I suppose it might be odd of me, but I want to chance for the NPCs to actually hate my character and possibly leave if they dislike them enough - I don't want them to like the character either in a fuzzy way or a prickly way. It's just... well, odd to me.
- Less descriptions and more codex entries. I prefer it the other way; I like the item descriptions to be on the item, to learn the various histories of characters from that character as much as possible, and ideally to learn most things about the world from various NPCs in it (or that failing, books or such). Sort of on that note, I also miss the accomplishments page with the tracked kill count and damage. It's just a neat thing to have.
My next three major dislikes would be 'changed elves', 'not being able to talk to NPCs as much' and 're-used levels'. They're really about all tied with the last one I put there, but I thought it probably needed more explanation as those are all pretty self-explanitory. Oh yeah, and 'weapons being restricted by class'. That's got to be up there.

LIKES
1. Better/more fun Gameplay
2. Voice acting
3. My character
DISLIKES
1. The story (only because I wanted to continue my DAO story)
2. Glitches (I never met Isabella? Idk how that happened)
3. Reused dungeons.
Overall I would have been happy if they put in this new gameplay and conversation wheel with the original dragon age. I have hope for the future and expect an expansion similar to DA : Awakening

Like:
1. Companions and how we got to do so much more with them and their unique looks, friend/rival system and all the romance options! =D
2. Increased pace of combat
3. Personality tracking allowing for unique options and reactions
4. Down to earth, personal and political plotline
5. Voiced Hawke
Dislike:
1. Re-used dungeons
2. Waves were overused (note overused, I still like the idea)
3. No item descriptions
4. Skill tree still isn't free enough
5. No "compare" button when on the looting screen (at least on consoles)

Like(s):
1: Voiced main character. Makes me feel connected with the PC
2: Combat was faster and more reactive than DA:O (perhaps too fast)
That's about all that i would want to say I liked, because i hope the rest of the elements in this game aren't in DA3
Dislikes:
1: Unimportant story. I mean, what are you actually doing. It should of been called Grand Theft Kirkwall. All you did was build your status, make money, and get make connections in the city. If you showed up in Kirkwall or if your boat sank while traveling there, it really would have made no difference
2: Waves of enemies. Someone working for bioware said on these forums that, while they aren't 100% sure, they would think that the wave type encounters are the direction that Dragon Age is taking in the future. If so, count me out.
3: Re-used areas. The only other game I know of that uses the same cave setting as much is World of Warcraft.....
4: No tactical camera. Really? What the heck were they thinking
5: Junk. Was there really a need for the amount of junk in the game?
As less important dislikes, but still up there would be the graphics of the elves. Sweet jebus, what happened to them. Especially the random elves that inhabit the city. They look closer to ET than a humanoid. Also, the double d boobs on every female. Heck, DA3 will see them all hunched over with back pain.

1. Party banter
2. Changes to the Qunari and yes even the elves if only the noses were different.
3. More companion quests and individual talent trees but only Hawke having two specialisation was annoying.
4.The player and companions have their own home bases.
5.Quicker combat.
Dislikes
1. Can't not be said enough; reused areas and maps.
2. Every class being a teleporting ninja and the stupid exploding bodies.
3. The static nature of the city, player/npc homes and companion armour. So much could have been been done with the action taking place in one city to make KirkwalI be a character in its own right but it was bland and soulless.
I understand the idea behind indivdual companion armour and even support it if done right but seriously couldn't it change to a different armour model with each upgrade? I got bored of looking at them.
4. The weapon restictions and why wouldn't my apostate mage not use her staff as an effective weapon? I'm not saying an AW who can equip massive armour but come on let me use it as a polearm if I want to invest in that route and it solves the magic in front of problematic NPCs issue too.
5.The big one for me is not being able to speak to my companions unless the game says I'm allowed to. It really effected how connected I felt towards them.

1. Glitches. Lots of glitches. Even Awakening didn't have as many glitches as this does.
2. Spirit Healer tree (so, you have a choice of being a damage-dealing mage, or a healer. You can't really do both)/lack of healing companions if you don't agree completely with Anders.
3. Anders (whilst we're on the subject). Ignored parts of the DA:O and Awakening storyline in general, actually. I swear, Anders took off for about three months and then came back. He didn't run away for seven years). Also, my Mage!Warden did have a romance with Leliana. I would like that to be mentioned in-game.
4. Getting Isabela up to 50% friendship by the end of Act 2. I can see the point of it storyline wise, but I never know what to say in order to get her to approve.
5. Some quests (Magistrate's Orders and the Act 3 Bone Pit quests in particular) just didn't seem to have anything to do with...well, anything, really.
