I've seen the first 10 minutes of TW1. while the combat seemed strange and awkward for my tastes (maybe due to me watching a video and not actually playing it =P) it seemed like a really great game. I ordered the enhanced edition off of Amazon today and it'll come in the mail sometime between late may - mid June hopefully.
I'm also going to make a trek down to Gamestop and see if they have any of TW2. If not I'll just use Amazon again.
You will not regret it! I enjoyed it more han DA2 in so many ways( Vizima felt more alive and immersed me into it. That was made on BioWare own age-old Aurora engine, too! Choices that matter instead of being railroaded by the story.)
You guys should pick up some of the mods for TW1, really enhanced the gameplay for me. I reccommend the following:
http://www.moddb.com...er-texturen-mod - Texture Mod, the whole game looks ten times better already with it.
http://www.moddb.com/mods/scabbard-mod - Scabbard Mod, adds scabbards to the swords, really adds to the immersion.
http://www.moddb.com...rfect-blood-mod - Blood Tweaking, makes it look more natural.
http://www.moddb.com...mbat-rebalance1 - Combat Rebalance Mod, this thing cranked up the tactical approach to combat up to fifty and made my second playthrough all the more challenging
*fist-bumps Gleym* Thanks a lot, buddy!

Guys, i doubt this is an employee from EAware. Perhaps you should restrain yourself a bit before making such accusations.
No! I refuse to refrain from making accusations without proof that make me look like a fool!
I have a feeling it is an employee of EAware though
John Ricietello
that name sounds familiar... isn't he that CEO of EA with the really creepy blank smiling stare filled with unfathomable amounts of evil?

Yes. He also's also treated Merrill badly. He tried to smack her for! If evil had a face, it would be him!

Gun-shots, knives, decapitations and such has no effect on evil of that calibre. We mus banish him back to his own dimension! *chants in latin*

I was kidding/being snarky, but not in a mean spirited way. If it came across like that, I am sorry. Mine wasn't a pre-order, just went out & bought it. (29.99 instead of 45.99 btw) The Prologue packed one hell of a dramatic punch, I gotta say. If the game stays THIS brilliant throughout, then it has my vote for GOTY.

"I registered just to fix this injustice done by Bioware employee, M_stanndard. Of course I'll do the same with Dragon Age 2"
Please restrain yourself from doing that. It really leads nowhere.

This looks like a game that I'm going to try and play non stop. I'd rather not do that during the week. So I'll finish the prologue then... through my superior willpower, stop until Friday. If I can...
Hey Ali, why don't you try this Tidus vid?
