Anyways, I've just opened it up, taken a look some of the graphics... looks awesome btw (on high settings), but I don't think I'll play until Friday or the weekend.
This looks like a game that I'm going to try and play non stop. I'd rather not do that during the week. So I'll finish the prologue then... through my superior willpower, stop until Friday. If I can...
Hey Ali, why don't you try this Tidus vid?
I will! And i'm getting the CE after work.

I think it's an excellent substitute for the "lol" smiley on BSN. Wouldn't you agree? p_o
It's nice for a change, just like the monocle smiley
The forced laughter threw me though.

Digital Premium off GoG for me. I'm Aussie, and not only was the price not jacked up since I pre-ordered in February (lol), I still get the full version.
Plus Gothic 2 Gold Edition.
So basically, I got two excellent games for $45 when Dragon Age 2 still sells for $80 retail here. I also picked up GoG versions of Planescape: Torment and Arcanum just because I could.
4 quality games - 3 classics and 1 brand new for $60 overall.
<3 GoG.
As for the review, I think it's just a die hard fanboy myself, not an employee. Would they be THAT stupid?
But obviously the stigma is still there after the Avanost incident.

I seriously doubt thats a Bioware employee. Why do people automatically jump to the conclusion that a negative review implies Bioware wrote it? Feel like I'm missing something here. Though it looks good, I highly doubt TW2 will be GOTY anyway. It won't be awarded it from any meaningful source anyhow. Bethesda have way more money than CDProjekt. Skyrim may/may not be better than TW2, but I don't think that'll come into it much.
Don't pay much attention eh?

You said it yourself. There's a slight possibility that may even be the same guy again. And DA2 is so NOT worth that amount of money. In fact, that's kind-of a rip-off(IMO).

I went to EB Games the other day and Dragon Age 2 was still $80.
Prices are un-naturally high for our games despite our strong dollar currency.

Especially sucks for you guys, Crusty, because your version has a jacked up price despite being censored.
I pre-ordered in Feb. No censor and no jacked up price.
I didn't pay until today, so I was expecting the $60-ish dollars. But they kept to my $45 pre-order.
That exrta $15 went to second copies of PS:T and Arcanum.

Well someone might be trying to incriminate BioWare, but it's still funny nonetheless. As if written by Lacklaw himself.

Seems like an incredibly successful troll to me. I can't really see how someone can legitimately hate on TW2 without playing it when all it's trying to do is return RPGs to the level of quality they were once known for.
Perhaps that individual has gotten used to RPGs of low quality. Perhaps he wouldn't know an actual GOOD RPG if he saw one. *shrug*

Lol, that's still ~$10 cheaper. But yeah, pretty overpriced. I'd consider Dragon Age 2 now to be worth something like $20.

I'm guessing that some Bioware employee wrote a negative review about the first Witcher? I don't really follow the Witcher, so i wouldn't know.
A Bioware employee was caught writing a perfect review of Dragon Age 2 was posing as a player.
People are obviously paranoid and quick to jump to conclusions, but with M(eredith) Stannard's 0 rating of The Witcher 2 and double 10s for Dragon Age 2, people like pointing fingers.
I just think it's some butthurt Bioware fan, myself.

This system of user reviews is useful if taken in the right way. Unfortunately there are many people that exploit the anonymity of the internet to post whatever crap it comes into their mind, and especially for games that polarized the community like DA2 (which does not deserve at all the 4.3 the site indicates - the 7.3 of Gamespot makes much more sense).
It's also completely stupid to bash a game just because your favourite was bashed before.
P.S.: I'm sure I'll be able to enjoy both games.

Edit: My mistake. By Date he did the DAII reviews first then the Witcher II. Still, considering that those are his only reviews and uses a bashing review of the Witcher 2 to bolster up DAII, it's still "unnaturally obsessive".

Could be another Bioware employee - though presumably would have left a few less bread crumbs this time...
At any rate, any metacritic user who gives either 0/10's or 10/10's should be ignored utterly as they are trolling.
If it is a Bioware employee, I hope they remove it. It does rather scream of utter desperation, and makes me want to do nothing more than ignore Dragon Age 2 and play The Witcher 2.

If you look at his user score, he reviewed Witcher 2 first then did DAII PC, then DAII Xbox. Defientitly someone who is unnaturally obsessed with DAII. Who do we know here that fits that description?
I'am not surprised after seeing threads like this
to all the people that loved DA2: LETS FIX THE METACRITIC USER SCORE
and i doubt M_Stannard is a Bio employee.
