But the people who can already play the full version of the game even thought its very very hard to find it right now have to pay for a 15 minute long awful comic that importing it gives very few gameplay bonuses.
WTF Bioware?

So they make it free to people who actually need it and would ACTUALLY be willing to pay for it

I don't see why you care, I really don't. I always import my ME 1 Shepards to ME 2 and I always feel like I am shortchanging myself if I don't run my Shepards through ME 1 first. So I don't really need the comic, with that said if they want to charge you for it then it is their right and their perogative, it is their product afterall.

I made a thread on this exact issue and got the answer that a Gibbed edit only takes ME1 edits into consideration if it's used as a new game. The end result of this is that you have to create a Shepard. Edit your ME1 decisions. Save it with "LivedToFightAgain" checked in the Raw tab. And then start a new game using this Shepard as an ME2 import.javierabegazo wrote...
All the ME1 history choices will take effect after leaving Lazerus Station,
That is then two intros you have to sit through.
Actually if you use this editor which is a modified Gibbs editor then it takes effect on your current play and even fixes things like Conrad Verner not being able to see paragon from ME1.

So all you have to do is the intro and then you can change anything you want on your current play to suit as you like.

I had KFC for dinner tonight, but I ddin't buy Genesis.Sidesalad wrote...
Well, I just bought it. As much as I like ME1, I don't feel like playing it every time I want to make a new character and I'm not going to start messing with my Xbox to modify save games.
320MSP is definitely quite steep but put in perspective; that's still not as much as a KFC meal. Not a big deal.

Like Priestly said, don't buy it if you think it's a rip off. No one is twisting your arm.

I'll still be able to import and skip the comic, right?

They're charging for it? This piece of crap? Unbelievable.
I hope you are being sarcastic, they have a right to charge you for their product. If you don't like it then don't buy it.

No I wasn't. I also have the right to an opinion. And I think if they're gonna make it available to PC and 360 it should be free or it shouldn't be available at all.KotorEffect3 wrote...

Someone sounds like they have a sense of entitlement, the world doesn't work that way, if you want something you have pay for it that is the way the world works.

That's a ridiculous argument. Don't buy a car then, that way you can have LOTS of DLC! Plus, you seriously spend $50 for a steak? Really?Bearcut wrote...
So four bucks then?
Edit: Man, thats like a milkshake. People are weird with their spending habits. "Ill go out and spend 50 bucks on a steak but four bucks for a comic! SCREW THAT"

So yeah, it's obviously not meant for people that would rather just play ME1 again (or use Gibbed).
