Since nearly every other recurring male character has been established as straight (by virtue of making them a femshep LI), they're probably not planning to take the cheap way out and infuriate the fans by making an established character bi.

The only recurring characters left are Cpt. Anderson, who is probably out because of the age difference. In the interest of political correctness, BioWare wouldn't want to make a gay character who 'goes for little boys.'

Mordin is also out for similarly PC reasons.  Bioware doesn't want to imply that just because you sing showtunes you are automatically gay.

Zaeed is out because he didn't ship with the main game.  I suppose it's possible they'd make him gay (It would put a new slant on his grudge with Vido.  Instead of a pissed-off ex-business partner, he might be an enraged former lover.), but since he was DLC it's entirely possible that a good percentage of players never recruited him.

Legion seems fixated on Shep, but if BW's now-touted gay love interest turns out to be a robot, people will be pissed.

This leaves Joker.  His bone disease gives him a vulnerability that BW seems to like in their love interests (a la Tali, paragon Jack, Garrus, Thane).  Also, he has never been established as straight.



Personally, I was kind of hoping he'd end up with EDI.  Oh well.

They could, you know, make new squadmates and make them bi. It's what I think they'll do.

Chance of Joker being bisexual/homosexual is higher then most characters. He would be an excellent character, who we know well and respect. It also brings into question the "Just Like Old Times commander) conversation

I'm kinda sure that almost everyone will be gay for Sheppard.. It would be a bummer if the so called same sex ramance was only limited to 1 or 2 characters in the whole game or a bunch of new characters that noone has ever heard of.

It would kind of make a bit of sense IMO, if Shephard secretly fancied Joker, it would explain why Shephard immediately forgives joker for killing him.

Still Joker never struck me as a BI sort of guy.

Jack mentioned that she is BI so she is one of the SamesexLIs at least.
