Or...it could be because Geralt is a predefined character with is own novels and since he's CD Projeckts character and not a customizable PC is actually straight.

Not good with the sarcasm, are we there chief?

To add fire into crack pairings - I believe Legion is rather friendly with EDI.They can defintely connect to each other.:D

If Joker turns out to be gay, maybe I will finally play as male Shepard. :D
Because I still consider him to be the only person in whole ME universe, I want as LI.

When that sarcasm has no real basis (no one called the witcher devs homophobes because you can't sleep with m/m characters) Yeah it's a failure.

Keep trying though. You'll get better at it...eventually.

It was my mistake, I assumed you had something between your ears.

It's not all bad though, i'm sure the wind sounds nice when it's whirling around in that empty cavern.

Dun dun dun... and why Gayralt can be a predefined character and Shepard can't? Logic in this eludes me.

And the last resort of the ignorant is to resort to insults.

Ah well.

Nope Ryazaki, people who easily get annoyed with your patronizing way of expressing yourself are not necessarily ignorant.

No offence ryzaki, but I am terrible at picking up sarcasm in text and even I could tell he was being sarcastic without any trouble whatsoever.  As could most I assume.

This reminds me of the "Anders can't be gay because in DA Awakenings he kept talking about women." And then in DA2, he turns out to be bisexual - which in it of itself isn't impossible. In real life, I have several male friends who initially were legitimately attracted to women who turned out to be bisexual. Based on personal experience, an interest in women is not a strong enough argument that someone is completely straight. Nor is the argument, "but he doesn't 'act' gay/bisexual. That would be totally out of character." I don't think a character would have to change their personality just because you suddenly discover they swung in a certain direction. I know I would personally hope people didn't look at me like I was a different person after discovering my orientation.

Ye that's funny in bioware games. Male/female? No problem. Black/white/rainbow? No problem. 1 strand of grey hair? HELL NO

This is the first thread I *wasn't* being patronizing in to be honest. Just being b****y.

I think people are just getting a bit sick of all the focus on silly romances for fan-fiction purposes or political correctness. Games are turning into Soaps full of political messages and changes to keep up with the times not the story. Why so much focus on romance? Focus on the damn stories Bioware.

Personally, I was kind of hoping he'd end up with EDI.  Oh well.

Ha! Yeah, I bet you were hoping for six's body too. :P

I doubt he will be a romance option for Shep, but I do support the idea of Joker hooking up with EDI... I just don't know how they would do it. Put a wig and a red dress on Legion and download EDI into Legion??? I think I'll stop there.

Didnt the Game Informer article say that there wouldnt be any new romances? So therefore Joker couldnt be gay, plus that beard is almost Chuck Norris-like.

I'm kinda doubting Joker will be romance-able (unless I' haven't heard and he'll be available), let alone gay/bi.It doesn't really fit his previously defined character.

Besides, something tells me Seth Green wouldn't really want to do a voice-over of a serious, committed gay relationship. Just sayin...

Really? He's a great actor, and most actors tend to be mature enough to do all sorts of roles. I don't see why that would phase him - Seth Green especially. And I think a Joker romance (straight or otherwise) has incredible potential and would make very good sense for the following reasons:

He's been there right by Shepard's side since the beginning. And they have both depended on each other numerous times over their adventures. In ME2 especially, there are quite a few scenes in which you can  definitely tell that Joker cares for Shepard a great deal. (In particular during the opening sequence, as well as at the very end if Shepard dies.) Romantically or just  platonically? I think you could easily argue either way.

I think  the romance would be very interesting. Here's a man who's great at what  he does, but he has his own physical shortcomings. And then there's Shepard - a true hero in the galaxy - whom in his mind, may be a bit out of his league? Joker is known for being a major comic relief in the game, but could there be something deeper going on there? Perhaps Jeff  Moreau uses his jokes as a shield, a way to hide his true feelings and  insecurities? In my opinion, there's endless possibilities for the writers if you consider Joker as an LI.

The possibility of romancing Joker shouldn't be written off simply because of his medical condition. If Tali - someone of a race that has an extremely weak immune system - is able to be physically  intimate with Shepard, I don't see why romancing Joker would be any more far-feteched. Contrary to popular belief, the "act" can be gentle and just as rewarding and intimate.

And yes, I am aware that there are a lot of EDI-Joker fans. So it could be that if Shepard does not pursue something with Joker, than by all means,  EDI can have him all to itself! Everyone's happy! Posted Image

And they certainly can have a good thing in your game too. I was merely suggesting a possible alternative outcome for those who think a Shepard/Joker romance would be engaging.
