I did. Every time.
I also changed facial hair, beards, and hair styles for each act.
Someone's gotta put the effort into the whole 'time passed' thing. Might as well be me.
So, Who Aged Their Hawke (Black Emporium)?

I didn't age my Hawke but I had her hair grow over the years and gradually erased her tattoo. I think I made her somewhat gaunt cheeks slightly fatter by the end, to reflect her being properly fed.

"Forever young, I want to be forever young"!!! Quote from a famous song of Alphaville and apply it to my Hawke, too. Whatever I change Hawke's facial structure, I want my Hawke young, forever!!!

My Hawkes all stayed the same age. Apparently they found the fountain of youth in one of their cave crawls.

I think that one of the best things with the mirror is that it has saved me from restarting the game with a new char if I'm unhappy with it. I had 12 different dalish wardens when I tried to get my little girl to be just right.
I use to change her a bit after she starts flirting more =) a more attractive hairdo for example. I also tend to keep them looking young forever. Ha ha ha. It's a fantasy right =)

I didnt use the mirror to age per se. But when I did my LadyHawke, I started her out pretty dishevled looking and she cleaned up her look as the story went on. So by the time she got the mansion she was looking much more elegant than she started.

I had to age my guy Hawke. Started him at about middle of the slider. Anything younger, and it's so hard to make him not look girly.
What about your femme Hawke?
Women can get sessier with age, you know.

Male Hawke-Fighter playthrough, I gave him short hair (like the default Carver's) to go with the whole "war veteran" vibe. An Act or two later, I adjusted his hair to a longer, more debonair style and lightened his skin tone to reflect the pampered living of a noble.
FemHawke pretty much always looked the same. Any time I changed her hair color, I changed it back right away. A peaches and cream complexion with blond ringlets is classic.

In my mage Hawke's playtrough, i tried to go a little farther, at the beginning he had a very nice beard, when the second act started, I chaged him into a more adventurous look (the pirate tunic helped a lot), but when Landra passed, I decided it was time to corrupt him (all the firts act and three quarters of the second, I was playing nice, with mana and hopes and dreams), so I used a Maker's sigh and made him a blood mage, also I changed his face into a more deteriotated one, a larger beard and the last option of haircut (the one that looks like long loose dreadlocks).
At the end of the game, I gave him a shorter beard, and gave him a shorter haircut, but he remained as a blood mage with a little less deteriorated skin.
The black emporium really rules.
