I think they both bit the big one...

To start with, it's set 300 yrs in the future for crying out loud...We can't come up with anything better than a rover with a Caterpillar engine and mudgrip radials? It's like changing from a futuristic fantasy RPG, to an off-road arcade in mid game. I have yet to kill anything with that thing, after numerous playthroughs. Kille'm all on foot, even Turrets and big Geth. The rockclimbing was alright, for the first 3 planets, then the new wore off.

They tried to rectify this with, a poor attempt, at a what should have been a flying vehicle to start with. Oh, but wait...IT DOESN'T FLY... It just hovers, and is apparently modeled after the craft you found listed in the back of comic books from the 80s. Where you could order the plans to show you how to build a hovercraft, using three vacuum cleaners.  www.tomtilley.net/projects/hovercraft/

Put guns on the shuttle and you got something...Maybe even throw in a Barrier...

Or even the taxi, for that matter. Swap out the fair meeter for a MASS ACL CANNON....

I kinda agree with the dude above me. The Mako is basically just a Stryker with newer guns (that do about the same thing) and jump jets. Totally destroyed immersion, almost as badly as the incredibly stupid Halo vehicles. (Five hundred years from now, the military relies on technicals and tanks with less range than modern ones. Uh, what?) The terrain issues weren't exactly a Mako design flaw per se, but they helped make it much more annoying to drive on anything other than plot worlds. (I think Nodacrux was the worst, but it's been awhile.)

The Hammerhead's inability to absorb damage is a bit of a problem, but it's understandable from a gameplay perspective. At least it felt like something that kinda belonged in 2185. Its weapon loadout was also a bit disappointing.

I just hope this Atlas mech thing works better.
