Flickering with DirectX 11

So  whenever I have DirectX11 enabled many textures flicker.  This includes the red enemy indicators around enemeis, blood on the ground, and reflected light from flames.  Also, character models on the inventory screens are translucent.  Anyone else noting this issue?

basic specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750
4 GB DDR2
Windows 7 Home Premieum 64-bit
Radeon 6850 1 GB
ATI Catalyst 11.5 drivers

Have you vertical sync enabled? If not, enable it and see if the problem disappear.

Will give it a try, but I always assumed v-sync was for tearing.  Since I forgot to say it before: the problem doesn't exist when using DX9

Is it flickering or is it flashing white? (if you need a description of the difference it isn't flashing white then)
