Check this out if you haven't seen it already.  Sometimes the NWN community is scary...

The NWN community, either 1 or 2, scares me. If we joined forces, I'm quite sure we could do something pretty awesome.

Like invent a new dance or something... The Nasher. That's what I'd call it!

Wow! That is amazing. I wish *we* had an omnibus.

After the lord, or the Starlings' dog? Because one of them would involve more butt-sniffing than the other (although I'm not sure which).

My vote would be for the beholder hokey pokey. "You put your left eye-stalk in..."

hey the omnibus will be just as good as the lexicon1.68 - which was very helpful in nwn2
Now there is the 1.69 and it design focuses on nwn2 so mayhap some stalwart band of brainiacs may make a omnibus for nwn2 - the sky is the limit

What? You're kidding me. I'd guess 90% of NWScript is by and large the same. The Custom Content Guide 3.0 doesn't apply to making, say, armour models in NWN2, but the spells, feats etc are the same, perhaps with one or two differences. BioWare's "for developers" reference docs are still valid for most things. They don't have docs on NWN2-only formats, but they have details on TLKs, ERFs etc. which let me (whose programming knowledge is basically all derived from NWScript) build a TLK editing tool from scratch.

If you were, as an NWN2 builder, to download this, you'd be getting a lot of useless content. I'm pretty sure you'd be getting a lot of useful stuff too, though.

Besides, its explicit use isn't the only grounds for posting about something. Maybe people want to discuss making something similar for NWN2 etc.

The usefulness is strictly up to the beholder, I guess.  I thought it was cool, not to mention useful as a NWN2 builder.  Perhaps such an effort would push some NWN2 folks to do the same such useless thing for NWN2.  Then I'll make sure to post it in the NWN forums...
