This seems interesting but I won't be picking it up. I'm not spending money on this. If I want to change some things from the first game I'll just replay it over again. I haven't played in ages so I wouldn't mind running through it again, it was a great game.

it doesn't matter that people think it's not worthy. I collect everything about mass effect game. now, I have entire DLC for mass effect 2 including this. by the way I just uninstalled, deleted entire mass effect 2 game last week because I needed to save space for upcoming new games (yeah, the witcher 2). I have tons of games in backup drives. I'm not sure but. is this DLC required with mass effect 2 game? or just opened separately?

For those who don't know, it is entirely possible to use Gibbed for 360 saves.

See here.

That being said, I'm a bit put out that this isn't at least part of the Cerberus Network.

For those saying "well ME2 is currently worth...":

Those of us who bought ME2 on launch payed $60. We then (possibly) paid even more for all the DLC.

So, Bioware got at least $60 from us. That's the only number that really matters.

PS3 users paid $60 for the same game I paid $60 for plus several DLC packs which I payed them money for. They also got a comic.

Essentially, Bioware has more of my money but are charging me for what those who gave the same amount of money for free.

That's the root of the issue.

Does BioWare have intention to release Terminus Weapon and Armor, Recon Operations Pack and N7 Complete Arsenal Bundle for PC and Xbox 360?

Please this. I beg you. Or at least solid confirmation of this never happening. Whichever it must be. But I'd pay for this. Happily. Heck, I'd pay 800 msp ($10) for the N7 bundle. That's right, I will be price gouged with a smile on my face.

On the topic of Genesis: Having influence over the smaller decisions in Mass Effect 1 necessitates that I replay the game every time. Just can't pass on that.

I believe the Terminus Weapon and Armor was actually a Game Stop exclusive dlc, so I doubt they'll make that into specific downloadable dlc weapon/armor packs.

Terminus Weapon and Armor is avaiable for PS3 for $1,99, and it's also in the N7 Complete Arsenal Bundle ($7,99 on the PSN), so no Game Stop pre-order required.

I just started ME1 again for another character, so I'm sorry to say that I won't be getting this.

Just start a new game as either male or female character, the comic will come once you have been blown out of the Normandy.

Well, I guess it's nice to make it available but if you don't play ME1 when you have the chance to do it on PC/XB, you are depriving yourself of an awesome experience and ME1 does not cost much more than this DLC anymore.

Genesis seems to bew useful if you wish to make a quick character to see what happens if you want to see all the other possible choices in ME1 but what about an option for Conrad Verner or do we need only get his bonus mission with a ME1 import?

I think that takes away from what was offered to people who actually played and supported the original mass effect. It's like you're taking away the reward given to those for loyalty. But I guess that doesn't matter to you guys anyways...

Got the original Mass Effect, and played it a lot.
Got ME2, all DLC (and yes, I paid for Terminus Armour and weapon off of eBay for a cheap price), and loved it.
As I still have some achievements to unlock, and this is a dev guaranteed save creator (can help for ME3), I bought this Genesis DLC.

I'm a bit disapointed as it could clearly have been part of the Cerberus Network, but well... I seriously hope that for ME3, you guys will manage to keep EA cool with DLCs and their prices.

I have to ask, is the comic optional after install? Sometimes I'll want to import ME1 games, and sometimes I'll just fancy a game of ME2 with the comic.

I'll still be able to import and skip the comic, right?

Yep. The only way you get the comic is if you start a brand new non-imported game.

You know, I feel bad for Bioware. No matter what they do, people will always crap on it. They announced the comic for PS3 specifically because PS3 players would never get ME1; what happens? People start crying and whining that the PC players were left out. They later announce that they will make it available for the PC. What happens? People start crying and whining that it's no longer "exclusive". They use precious time, resources and man hours to make the PS3 DLC work for the PC and ask for a few dollars to offset the cost. What happens? People start crying and whining about being asked to pay for something that they (Bioware) likely never had any intention of porting to the PC in the first place and only did so because people asked them to.

Holy crap, people. No wonder gamers are thought of so poorly by everyone else. The sheer selfishness and self-entitlement I've seen people displaying here is just staggering. Allow me to remind people of three things:

1). The PC has the Mass Effect 1 game available to them as an option; the PS3 players do not.
2). The PC has a third-party mod available for free to use to create and modify save games; the PS3 players do not.
3). No one is twisting your arm and forcing you to purchase this extra addition. It has absolutely nothing to do with the story and offers absolutely no benefit to you other than allowing you a way to create a save game that changes the default decisions which you can already do for yourselves on your own if you so desire.

For the amount of time we have waited for this, plus the fact PS3 users got it free for a their full price game I thought Bioware would have been a little more considerate to players who bought this at launch and have been quite patient with them.

So I guess buying the game full price and buying all the DLC which cost more in total then the PS3 Game did counts for nothing right. Sorry if Loyal fans feel slightly upset about this 320points paid for DLC. But im sure you can understand why.

You'd think. We sit through a year of on/off DLC, none of which really worked out to be what BioWare said it would be. We get an announcement of the "end of DLC", with no confirmation as to whether it applies to just story DLC or DLC as a whole, leaving the status of two appearance packs and one/two gear packs up in the air, along with this DLC.

And then, when they decide to release this DLC, they charge an arguably obscene price. I generally don't get in a fuss over DLC, but this is taking the yellow liquid.

Thank you.

And you're right, people seem to like to get themselves worked up into a tizzy over whatever Bioware does at the moment... The comic is DLC, for goodness sake, an optional extra. It took man hours to produce and was  originally likely worked into the costings of porting the game over to the PS3. They then had to port it over to both the 360 and the PC, which can't have cost nothing, and are offering it to the few players whom would like it (for completeness' sake) or would get use out of it.
It's wonderful, by the way. I'm glad it's now available on the PC.  :)

That may be the answer to the Xbox fans complaining, but how about the PC gamers? Can Microsoft force them to charge for PC content?

No its not. Lots of companies give free DLC to consoles, Bioware themselves did it with Cerberus Network. This could have been part of the Cerberus Network, they purposefully chose to sell it for a price seperately.
