I noticed that before meeting TIM Miranda disappears... and after you meet him. To fix this you need to save the game and reload the save to make her re-appear. I haven't encountered any other problems so far, but I sure hope bioware makes a patch that fixes this... and includes more options in the comic to make you more paragon/renegade.

I bought it, installed it and it says it cant verify and won't play. This is bull since I bought it with bio-ware points I already have and I like have every DLC there is for the game already. This is the first one that wont play and I want to know why. I have downloaded it and everything but it treats me like I got it illegally. I understand if it is glitch but otherwise please explain why I paid for something it won't let me use because it thinks I didn't pay.
This happened with all of the DLC's I purchased (Steam user).
All I had to do was log into the Cerberus network with my email/password and it verified that I had purchased them, and I was good to go.
Maybe it's something new BioWare has started doing? I just started playing ME a few weeks ago, while I wait for TOR.

Waste of money.
For $4 you could get like 3 bars of chocolate, I think $4 for this DLC is pretty damn worth it.

Still, for those as don't want to play ME1, it's an acceptable substitue, I guess.

That and its a spiffy way to skip 30-40 hours of an ME1 playthough just to change a single major decision.

Assuming you're talking about Hershey bars (as opposed to, say, Lindor or some European brands), the parallel is surprisingly apt. That is, 3 chocolate bars equaling ME:Genesis. It's kind of a dessert-y DLC, with appetizer being Kasumi and Shadow Broker being the main course. It's... pretty mediocre as a comic adaptation of ME1 (Lindor chocolate, as mentioned earlier, would equal a better quality comic, or at least a "creamier" one, so to speak), but it provides a finish to the big meal that is ME2.
...
If that makes any sense.

My biggest complaint is the lack of Conrad Verner, especially since there is talk that he will make an appearance in ME3. Anyone who uses Genesis to simulate a ME1 playthrough is basically losing out on that. I don't see why BioWare can't put him in the Eternity Lounge, doing his thing, with our save files flagged as if we shoved a gun in his face (happens to everyone else anyways, regardless of how they treat him).

Glad it's available for those starting from scratch with ME2 but I have so many ME1 saves I don't think I'll ever use it.
At this point I would rather have a tool like this to alter my ME2 decisions rather than ME1. I can see myself playing ME1 again but have a harder time seeing myself playing ME2 again. Eight times for ME2 is enough given the narrow breadth of the depicted universe and the story. ME1 still comes to me as fun while ME2 has run it's course.
I may simply have to rely on Gibbed config editor to get my ME3 import settings right rather than go through ME1 AND ME2 again.
ME1 sure, not so sure about ME2 (all I need is an ME2 game where I was loyal to Ash through the game...it is the one iteration I am currently missing and haven't yet found the setting in Gibbed that sets that...anyone help here on that?).

i mean bioware enough with your costume and items dlc that cost money!
why don't you follow the footstep of cd projeckt and give something for free to the customers rather than charging every penny we have for a petty dlcs.

New to this discussion. What is Gibbed and is it legal for use on 360's? In other words, it's not seen as modding is it?
Copy a saved game onto a flash drive and plug it into your PC. It is a piece of software that allows you to add money, resources, and what your character looks like. You can add skill points for fully upgraded players and you can play ME1 without having to play it. You pick what choices you want to and the game will act like it is a ME1 Import save.

So PS3 users get this included in their game for free. Yet PC and Xbox users have to pay for it. Hardly seems fair. Or is Bioware REALLY trying to kiss up to the PS3 noobs.....
If i am not mistaken, Mass Effect was not released on Play Station. So it would make sense that ME2 players on the PS3 get some kind of feature that lets them decide what happened in ME1. Again I am not a console player so I am not 100% certain.

You're right. They didn't get Mass Effect 1, though I don't see why that should make
them more priveleged to get free content than, say, any other newbie to
the ME series, regardless of the platform.
Or at least that's
what I think. I might still nab Genesis, though. Dunno. Depends on how
I'm feeling the next time I stop at GameStop.
