@Mr. House. You recieve letters in the same fashion you recieve e-mails to The Normandy. How's it any different?
That's a single similarity. I think his comparing the Normandy to the camp is because the camp has all your companions gathered around like the Normandy does.
The Normandy has you go through a loading screen to talk to your companions(loweer floor companions, anyway). Kinda like how Hawke visiting companions has you go through a loading screen everytime. Unlike the party camp. They're all right there.
I know. Thats why I was comparing it to its sequel, ME2.
Mike Laidlaw personally responds to a letter I wrote him

Why hate the camp so damn much? It made sense and it was nice being able to equip people without having to run to a god damned mailbox with a horn on it that sparkled so I could interchange my party members just to get a Maker forsaken ring out of my Maker foresaken pack.

I'll start calling you Chuckles then, for the irony.
Now I want to watch the Robin Williams movie called Death to Smoochy.

And of course, book version is vastly superior to movie version.
The "Everything floats down here" line gave me a complex about clowns... always started looking for sharpened teeth under that rubber nose.
