I'm doing the male models first, because it's much simpler. I can get away with straight scaling, and the armor fit over the elf body near-perfectly. The female models require more finesse, so I'm putting them off until I'm done the male ones

She deserves it! After how many of our tears the writers have drunk, it's time someone took a stand for us!

Well, I never suggested you should do that, just wanted to make sure you're not just doing it out of spiteishmaeltheforsaken wrote...
I will just say this: if I do end up making dwarf meshes, I will NOT cut out a hole for the chest.

Sorry to go off topic, but with lightwave is it possible to resize the elven hairstyles to fit Hawke?
It should be. Though, I have no interest in doing so myself.

I thought that the earlier armors look a little oversized on Fenris, but Merrill's fit like a glove.
If I say I promise, will you trust me?
Massive armor isn't skin-tight, so yes, it's going to make him look bulkier. That can seem weird if you're used to his skintight clothing-plus-breastplate. He's a skinny dude wearing heavy armor.

Of course. You don't even need to ask.

Very true. The contrast is much moreso because of that factor. That said, Peenris scares me.
