I think it's also safe to say that his posture doesn't do him any favors. He looks like he's trying to make himself as small as possible. I think he takes the "I'm a slave" thing a little too far.

Peenris is only temporary. I mean, if you put Fenris in Champion armor, Peenris is going to be in your game >:D But since the Dragon that drops the Champion's chestpiece also drops the Ensorcelled Fortress Wall of Shartan (if you're running Diversified Follower Armors, which everyone and her dog should be), I don't think anyone's actually going to run with Peenris.

But the avatar is temporary. Once the shock-value recedes, I'll return to Maria- I mean, Merrill!cat's comforting embrace.

Ish? Would you, at some point, consider converting elf-only armors for Hawke/humans? Things like elven leather armor and maybe tevinter mage robes that were restyled into dalish keeper ones?

Tevinter mage robes is mostly for nostalgic reasons, but some of the elven leather armors look better than majority of the rogue gear save champion/second set of dlc (imho, of course).

Well, the thing is, even if I made those meshes, there aren't any in-game models that use them.

I'd need to test some stuff in-game, but I think something like that would be as simple as editing .mao files. The meshes are already in place. Orsino's robe, for example, is just a retexture of the Spiral Eye set.

If I can finish up Sebastian's gear tonight for my Diversified Follower Armors mod, I'm hoping to release my Warrior Pack for this project tonight. Just a heads up.

Alright, so a tangentially related question here. If the models can be re-sized, do you think it's possible for the Trogdor arm in the male champion's mage armor to be scaled down a bit? I'm not suggesting you do it, Ish (goodness knows you've heaped quite a bit on your plate already), I'm just trying to figure out if it's feasible or not. And since you've had so much success with model editing, I figured you'd be the one to ask.

Yes, absolutely. I've actually thought about doing it myself, but as you very astutely observed, I've got more than enough on my plate! But something like that would be very simple. The hurdle is actually setting aside a bit of time for me to actually do it XD

Of course, someone else could totally do it first if they had the tools and the desire. But I like making yuki and the rest of you Anders thread weirdos happy, so doing this is on my mind :3

Also, I've uploaded the Warrior Pack to my DFA page on DANexus.

Is the Warrior Pack standalone or do I need the DFA mod to make it work?

It's an add-on to my mod. It's standalone in the sense that it does what it says it does on its own. But those models won't do you any good unless you can equip Fenris and Merrill with the heavy armor, which DFA allows for.

Well, obviously you should be using my mod instead :P

That said, there shouldn't be any issue with it. All this does is add models. I'll add, though, that this will not be a standalone mod. It will be integrated into Diversified Follower Armors and will no longer be available separately.

Thanks, guise

Also, if anyone feels like doing me a favor, I'd love to collect some screenshots of Merrill and Fenris in the heavy armors... maybe uploaded as user pics to the Nexus page? Or you can send 'em to me. I dunno. Anyway, if anyone happens to take some pics, I'd love 'em :P

Nice job on the armors, Ish, and thanks for the answer! The Trogdor arm does seem to come up quite a bit in the Anders thread, doesn't it? B)

If you did some reduction on that horrible arm, I would gladly offer services in trade. Unfortunately, my skills are limited to Infinity Engine modding and the writing of horrible, horrible fanfic, but if you want either of those things, shout it out!

I would love the giant poofy ball of *fur* gone off the back of the champion mage robe. I imagine that is impossible tho.

I am loving the deshelved armor work you have done and armors for all, thank you!Image IPB

I sense the seeds of armor for elf-style Hawkes in here somewhere...
