Looking good.
The dwarf seems a little large, are you removing the appearance scale in the 2da?

Nope. All scales are stock.

That horse model is several orders of magnitude better than the deformed mules that shipped with the game. Very nice work.
Although I'd be interested to know how you managed to convince a dwarf to get on a horse...

Hellfire, by stock do you mean the default model or the dwarf model with the appearance.2da scaling. Without the appearance.2da both the dwarf and humans are the same height, but the dwarf is much larger in girth.
I only ask because in the screenshots both the human to horse ratio seems to be the same as the dwarf to horse
ratio. If the horse isn't scaled down to match the dwarf then the dwarf and human seem to be the same size.
All height difference between the races (excluding grey orcs) is handled in the 2das, their models are all the same size.

The horse is scaled to the rider.

The mount have to scale with the character model. If they did not I would need skeletons for every race as some of them reuse skeletons at different scale (draw as an example)
Also when the mount dismount animations are added it would be a serious pain making a mount animation that looked right for small races like Gnome.

Yes, but don't gnomes just ride dwarves?

Looks great. Unless I'm mistaken, that looks like a girl. Does this mean you've finished all of the human anims?

Actually I opened the Ankheg up yesterday to take a look at it.

Really great work, hellfire. An ankheg would be excellent. I saw a picture of the model and it looks amazing.

That's an awesome horse, but it's not mounted by an ankheg !!!!
So just for that I won't give it a 10 !
Anyway, no horse on BGR , made from the begining without them, with monsters lurking everywhere. But it's clear that the next project will use them

Sorry for such a long delay. I was running low on motivation, and some real fun games took my attention.
Last night I finished exporting the last of the races. The first release of horses will be ready as soon as I make a hak and do a write up for the vault.
Included in the release will be three horses (White speckled, black, Brown and white) with saddles, saddlebags and bed roll.
Non combat animations for all races
Included aniamtions will be weapon stances for 1HS, 1HSS, C2H, O2TH, and Torch for Walk, Run, Walkback, Idle, Turn right, Turn Left.

Great job hellfire. On an unrelated topic, thanks again for those fantastic skyrings. I just released some screenshots in the Mods section that show your skyrings. It's in the TWA2 pre-release screenshots if you want to take a look at your handiwork in action. They look great.

Guess I should get started on scripting the ride skill and mounted feats soon.
