I just downloaded Mass Effect Genesis, but I don't know how to start it up. I went into Mass Effect 2 and can't find a place to open up Genesis.
Btw, I did play ME1 and ME2. I'm just playing Genesis so I won't have to do a whole playthough of ME1 just to import. I've already beat it 5 times.

My fiance had the same issue. Just start a New Game and let it run. It'll pop up after the Normandy goes boom.

Very poorly implemented, IMO. I just discovered that myself. The DLC should start BEFORE the opening sequence.
The way they did it, you're always stuck with Liara running to Shepard in the opening sequence. There is no way to get Ashley in that scene, as you could if you imported an actual ME1 save.

Bad move....it's doesn't make sense as all those choices happened before...

I know. Now, I kind of want to uninstall the DLC. I guess I just have to delete the folder.
Oh well. It was only about $5.

Its the same as it was on the PS3. It starts up after the opening sequence. However in so doing. It limits who you can interact with in the opening sequence.
Not really a big deal and it IS useful if you just want to make the major decisions without having to play through again.
But yeah, its exactly the same as the PS3 one.

Wait...they did this for PS-players, no doubt got an earful for the 'interruption'-thing....and still did the same thing for 'us' pc-users...Bioware, what happened to you?

I'd be interested to know if it still has the Kaidan picture glitch that the PS3 version has/had. Can anyone confirm if Kaidan's picture is in Shepard's room even if they romanced Liara (or even Ashley as a male Shep)?

If you already have 5 playthroughs you've sufficiently covered everything one would think and you get more content not sure why you'd go for it

so does the comic let you choose who you romanced also, or just major plot decisions. also does it let you choose between anderson and udina for councilor?

The choices are:
- who you romanced (if anyone)
- Kill the rachni queen or not.
- Save Wrex or not.
- Save Kaidan or Ashley.
- Save the council
- Udina or Anderson.
- who you romanced (if anyone)

- Save Wrex or not.
- Save Kaidan or Ashley.
- Save the council
- Udina or Anderson.

That's it? For 15 minutes I thought it would have covered everyone you can meet in ME2 like Gianna, Conrad and Helen Blake

Udina or Anderson? It was to my understanding that you choose that during transport back from Lazarus Station (or whatever it was called). That's how those who don't play from Genesis do it, anyways.
