I Hate Alistai

If he did then why doesn't this still limp chunck of pathetic noodle suggest the mistress arrangement right off the bat? If he LOVES her so much why is any persuasion required? He was the one who said he wasn't going to let HER get away, and then he just drops her like a hot potato and reconciliation at the end isn't an option? If he has the guts to curb her why doesn't he have the guts to put his foot down on those idiot nobles and their crap traditions in order to keep her? Why did anything in the relationship need to change, why couldn't he just secretly keep her on the side like a bajillion male rulers in the course of world history have done? If he really loved her and had half a goddamned brain he would have done that. If he really loved her he would've held onto her fast and worked SOMETHING out himself. Dumping her forever completely is just ugh NO. She was forced into the stupid Wardens against her will anyway so it isn't like it's her fault her ovaries are busted. His own mother a common old dirt blooded elfish Warden for goodness sake. Geez. And who needs natural kids? Why not just adopt a kid or something if there's no working babymakers to drill into? Adopting worked a heck of a lot better than heredity for the Romans. 'Tis why their society lasted far longer than most.
Totally ruined the character for me, honestly I thought "hardening" was supposed to actually make this utter dimwit grow a spine. And what happened to the sweet, humorous carefree guy, turning into such a cold dark hardass jerkwad? Major character breakage and inconsistency ahoy.
And why did he willingly bone Morrigan in DC with no Warden there to convince him to do it?
I want to play Witcher 2 but I'm scared of getting screwed over by the story again because the hero of that game is also a sterilized needle.
Also, I now find virginal males utterly repulsive.

Also, shouldn't this thread be in the spoiler section?

It's possible, according to Word of God (David Gaider), but the probability is smaller. Hey, it just needs more time and better sex, that's all... maybe Avernius can help out, he's the expert in tainted blood...Maybe when there's two wardens there is too much taint in the way.
Anyway, back to topic: Correct me if I'm wrong, (I've never tried it myself - he doesn't swing that way...) but for marrying Alistair as king, you need to be
(a) either a (female) Human Noble OR have hardened him,
AND
(
Only if both (a) and (
If you're not Human Noble, there's another solution: Put Anora on the throne, and be happy with Alistair as Warden-Commander. He won't be king, but if you love him, does it matter?

That's how it works, and that's what drove my first Warden (a Surana) to commit suicide by Archdemon

I couldn't stand how he killed Loghain that was my only gripe about the guy. I mean he doesn't kill Zevran if you tell him to, but if you tell him to kill Loghain, he actually does it. I was not expecting that in my first playthrough, and I felt like seriously killing him myself.

Yes, that moment soured my disposition towards him too. Nevermind that Loghain is my favourite character (because he's the most complex/developed one IMO), but Alistair comes across as so bloody childish in that moment - if you decide to let Loghain live, he throws a tantrum like a four year old.

Although my first warden - Surana - successfully ignored everyone's cries about which man is better for her and departed to Antiva

As for the other guy, meh. His warden cameo in DA2 was great though.

Like I said in the other thread where you rant about Morrigan, you really have an unhealthy fixation with hating characters in this game. Please get a(nother) hobby or something, because it is getting boring. *rolls eyes*
