During the Qunari Uprising after you deal with the Arishok, Meredith hails you as champion. Duplicates of the same 4 to 6 people are seen cheering you on, even a copy of the one who's neck got snapped :D

Lazy Bioware.

I love how the guy in the Viscount's Keep keeps saying "good luck getting in, I've been waiting all day". Didn't the Viscount get his head chopped off a few years ago? Who's he waiting for?

This does make me giggle actually, the fact that he has been saying that since Act 1. Years have passed and the poor guy is still waiting.

This I totally agree with, that scene was lame.  (And I am a BioWare defender in most aspects.)

Maybe there's a link between the thinning of the Veil in Kirkwall and an increase in the twin population. :P

It's the same in Origins. Check out the cutscene where Loghain talks to the nobles after the battle of Ostagar, and later the Landsmeet.

This has been one of my complaints.

I can understand that copies are going to exist in a crowd--it's just plain easier and saves time. However, it seems to stand out more in DAII. I know that there were copies in crowds in Origins, but I think that they were spread out better. Many of the ones here are placed right beside each other.

It's a minor complaint, but I would just prefer that the copies were placed a bit better in the crowds.

If the clones make the scene lame, then the Landsmeet is lame because of all the clones.

Disney movies are guilty of the twin/triplet phenomenon as well. So maybe its less laziness and more shifting your focal point away from the enthusiastic crowds (who may or may not have neck injuries).

More proof they need to ditch this ancient engine and come up with something better.

It was like a breath of fresh air when Bethesda finally announced a new engine for Skyrim. I wanted to gouge my eyes out over the years playing on the Gamebyro engine. Bioware needs to overhaul their engine in the worst way. I wonder if repetitive level/character design has a lot to do with limitations within the engine. Witcher's devs claimed it had a ton of bottlenecks. Judging by the difference between Witcher 1 and Witcher 2, how can you disagree with them?
