 Hi fellow forum useres. I was about half way through my insanity run (I was on Feros after completing Virmire and Noveria) and when i checked my difficulty, it was set to normal. i started Feros on insanity, so it must have randomly switched. i was wondering if i could change the difficulty back and reload my save, or if i have to redo the entire playthrough. thanks for your future help. cheers

I think it should be enough to just load a save before the game switched to normal and keep playing on insanity.

thanks. i don't think it auto saved, so the playthrough may not have registered the change.
i'll finish up the playthrough and see how it goes. :/

Edit: i reloaded the save and it all turned out ok. For future people with a random switch of
difficulty, reloading works fine.
