Hey there :)

I'm afraid this question has probably already been asked 1000 of times. :(
I just starte practicing lighting in a small, seperate level so I can get it approximately right for my real levels. However, the Level looks great with rendered lightmaps, but as soon as I "Do all local posts" (Via Single Player or my own module) it just gets way too bright. Ingame the area looks as if "View models fully light" would be turned on. I really don't get it. Can anyone help me out there?

Edit: I attached a screenshot. The left picture shows my level in the room level editor and the right one shows the exported area.

Thank you :)!

Okay, I solved that. If that ever happens to anyone, it is most likely due to the Sun Properties in dhe level. I think my earth reflectance was way too high. :)

Lights never look 100% the same as they do in the game... and I find in general that it's very hard to get good low-light conditions. I'm trying something similar myself and most of my shadows end up looking greenish and far too bright for the atmosphere I'm attempting. Simple fact is that the lighting in Dragon Age is not too sophisticated, and it's not made any easier by the buggy lightmapper that comes with the Toolset. You just have to experiment constantly to get decent results... and I'm rarely satisfied even after sometimes spending hours on lighting alone, especially for interior levels.

There are few if any custom indoor levels I've seen that look absolutely great lighting-wise, so I think this is something everyone struggles with to some degree. Don't worry too much about it if you can't get something looking 100% like you want it.
