In Origins you can have a romance with both Morrigan and Leliana (or two other companion): if one complain about that you can
joking about that
you can lie (my chosen one!)
you can choose one instead another

With the following of the story, you are force to choose only one (very realistic)

In dragonage 2 is there a similar dialogue? For example if i romance merril and isabela, they complain with me about the flirt with the other (the jealousy dialogue between morry and leliana was superb)

You can only romnce Morrigan and Leliena at the same time throughout the game if you use a glitch, otherwise there are conversations that forces you to break up with one or the other.

In DA:2 when you romance both Isabela and Merrill, Merrill destroys anything you had with Isabela even if you lie to Bella about it, Merrill is the one you're staying with.

No dialogue between those two about your relationship. Merrill moves in, you can still flirt with isabela but she won't sleep with you anymore.

Anders and Fenris are the only ones who cat fight over hawk.

I had some interesting banter between isabela and varric though when I romanced isabela, told her I was interested, then went onto romance merrill. Varric asked if there had been something there, and isabela sounds rather sad but says no.

To Knight of Dane: yes............but BEFORE the final choice you can keep the two romance active, observe the two ladies that complain and struggle for you through several dialogues.
These dialogues are intended, so what i ask, is if there are similar dialogue in dragonage 2.
The glitch to have both does not concerne to me.

Merrill and Isabela are "bff" and doesn't fight over Hawke, Isabela just stands aside when Merrill is reeled in.

Bad choice.......another point that makes origins insuperable!

BFFs are supposed to share what they have. Especially if it's what they both enjoy.

It was quite funny to try and lie to Isabella about Merrill because she doesn't fall for it but she doesn't get angry either, she just tells you not to say that in front of Merrill.

I got the same reaction from Isabella about not saying what I had said to her in front of Merrill. I also was invited to join her and Zevran in their rendezvous after having Merrill move in; though I may be mistaken on the order of events I believe that's how it played out.

From what I saw neither one was seriously concerned with you being with the other. Isabella however seems content with being the girl on the side and doesn't want you to intentionally hurt Merrill.

At the end I kissed Isabella then moved straight over to Merrill and kissed her too so they seemed pretty cool with it. So, I assume Merril and Hawke with some Isabella on the side continues well into the future. At least in my story.
