It is not often I see people interested in same-sex romances complain about the opposite gender flirting with them.
It's because we know we aren't going to catch a case of the str8's if the opposite gender flirts with us.

Well now that seems off. Some people are born without legs. So this exists in nature, so it's natural but is it a defect? I think so. People are supposed to have legs. Same goes for pedophilia, this actually exists in nature quite a lot. Yet we don't see it as natural. So that argument fails. It's a defect cause this aren't supposed to work that way.
Yeah, the Liara argument. Simply put nature could do without men, it can't do without women. I don't think there is a double standard cause if anything is equiped for child birth we tend to call it female, but the Asari are actuallu neither. But I guess most people tend to think of the Asari as one big lesbian race. But in line with your argument this ccould call for a race of reproducing aliens who look like men not gay options within a race that has both genders. All in all equality is fine, but gay people tend to nag a lot.

It let you be xenophobic re aliens, which suggests Shepard simply hasn't spent enough time out in the galaxy rather than being a knowing bigot (as anybody who holds such views about humans in the 21st century is).
Still, if the game is going to let people express political opinions (which it likely won't), let's make sure that we express them in innovative and hilarious ways.
But why is it okay for non-humans to be racist to humans, and non-Shepard humans to be racist to non-humans, while Shepard is excluded? Is he supposed to be on some superior moral level, just by virtue of being the Super Special Protagonist? Heroes can be ****s and bigots, too.
