 Hey-o. 

This is otherwise a very simple mission, but even if I only take a second from the ten that are given to escape the mine (or not even, if I just use the omni-gel), I can never reach the newly opened exit in time. Am I somehow supposed to be able to sprint? There are no enemies around, obviously, so it won't let me, though. The furthest I can make it is to the top of the tunnel, so I can always see the exit, but can never reach it in time. 

So, how am I supposed to reach it, if I can't run and I'm already taking like, no time in defusing the the probe/bomb?

if i remember correctly the bomb has 3 parts.
So you need to defuse all 3 parts then timer stops.

it shoudln't be to hard to do the mini game 3 times no need to waste gel

Sorry, about that. The first time I went through it I'd thought it was just another one-round mini-game like all the others, so as soon as I did the first one I just tried to book it out of there.

It says no time to defuse, but that's really all you have time for. Running out is impossible. As Ronald said, there's three hardpoints. The worst of the three I think is average difficulty, so if you don't usually have trouble with that minigame, it should be no problem. Now I haven't tried it to see if the mission adjusts for party members present, but if you're a soldier/adept and you're running into battle with Ashley and Liara, you're probably scroffed.
