Will this effect my dragon age 2? I figured it was a bug but it has me worried that this will mess up my Dragon Age 2 file.

Don't worry too much about the codex saying that Anders died. In my game, he not only survived, but went back to the circle only to return to the wardens. In DA2, Anders is almost a completely different person who happens to share the same name as the Awakening character.

I also get the same incorrect codex entries, and I'm sure many others do too. I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you really want everyone to survive, then defend the keep rather than save Amaranthine.

Did you upgrade the keep fully? Did you get all the ore? Did you make them all wardens? If so, odds are it's a weird bug. They probably all lived.

When you get DA2, you can run a script to check these flags. I don't think any of those are ones based off the save game generator I've seen.

Bioware kind of ignores past death at times to serve the story.

What's the script for these flags in DA2?

I encountered the same "dead" codices despite getting the achievement for fully upgrading my keep and making them wardens, but in the epilogue my companions were still alive. It was a WTF moment to see those codex updates though.

It's a given that Anders survived due to his appearance in DA2. I hope to find Nate as well buggy imports and all.

zz_vault_debug. I think that's it. Check the wiki for sure by googling "Dragon Age 2 Console wiki."

There are many codex and quest log entries that show info that didn't happen in the game.

Aside from what was mentioned in Awakening, during Origins, it always says that Isolde died during Jowan's ritual, when I used the mages to help. Then there's the "Of Noble Birth" quest that always says that my dwarven son is doomed to be casteless, even if my warden was an elf or human.

The import bug for DA2 is on the list of fixes for the current DA2 patch in certification right now. The devs have said that they are treating the epilogues as "rumor".

So finally found the time to fiddle with the devconsole. All my Origins/Awakening flags imported correctly, but unfortunately if you chose to save Amaranthine...DA2 will still consider Vigil's Keep as fallen and all those you've left there are dead as well...even if you've upgraded the Keep and Awakening epilogues says otherwise with regards to the companions you left there. I guess those codices were right after all considering how DA2 interprets those plot flags. Story continuity be damned, eh Bioware?

Did not get Nate's quest in DA2, had to use the devconsole to put it in my quest log.  This is disappointing and sloppy on the part of Bioware.

Heyy. I know I'm two years late but has this happened to have been patched?
