I'd like to see a Q and A livestream like the DA2 team did at one of the conventions they went to before the game was released. It was fun listening to the devs answer questions (that they could) and getting to know the team behind the series a little better.

Regarding videos of any presentations/interviews given by ME3 devs: can we please have audio that we can hear? I've seen so many videos of panels at conventions where you can barely hear what is being said.

And yeah, plot spoilers make baby jesus cry. I'd be happy with a gameplay video, maybe showing some of the updated character designs or how the new modding/expanded RPG elements are implemented.

Hmm and as far as entertaining those of us that can't attend - why not video tape some of the fans that come up to your booth and invariably ask questions.  I also think it'd be amusing to show fan reactions to the demos.

As someone who can't go to the convention, things such as little hints, or bits of new information and concept artwork are always nice to hear and read about!
Things such as new squadie information, concepts on unnamed people and places, or named places even.. Small things like that just keep me smiling and keep me thinking on possibilities :)
Hope this helps! :D

You should show something such as a side mission to keep the spoilers on the down-low.

We already know people like hands on demos and, if we can make one, we will have one, but that is a Dev team thing. What I am looking for are ideas that the Community team can do that you enjoy when visiting a booth. Swag? Meeting Devs? Decorations? Contests? If you have any fond memories of attending a convention and doing something cool while you were at a booth, I want to hear it.

If you can't be at a convention (because, let's face it, not everyone can fly to Seattle or Cologne or wherever), what do you want to see about the convention? Now, again, before you all say it, please do not say video of the demo/gameplay or new trailer. Again, we know you all want this, but I am looking for things that the Community team can do to entertain those of you who cannot visit us at conventions. How can we entertain and inform you all who will not be able to actually stop by the booth. Blogging? Facebook and Twitter? Video broadcast? Giveaways? Again, if you can think of something we can do, I want to hear it.

So give me your ideas. I can't promise we'll use them, but I want to get a list of ideas together that we can start working on to make this year's BioWare convention season awesome both for fans at the shows and those who follow from home.

Thansk everyone. :)

Whatever you do, do NOT give out exclusive in-game gear. For completionists like me, it really sucks simply not being able to get something in our favorite games just because we live too far away.

Show us a trailer, while selling some classic ME goodies. Maybe showcase your current idea for the CE edition of ME3.

It would be really awesome if a dev could carry a camera around and film things in the booth and reactions from fans when they see whatever games you're showing.

For Part 2, I would like to see a video round-up of what the lucky participants were able to enjoy at the convention. I'm assuming that you guys can't film the entire event ;)
And throw in something funny, like attempting to get an interview from Mr. Hudson and he says he wants to calibrate or something :P

I´m not going to be able to visit any convention, but still:

1) Dev presence would be great! Some signed lito´s or some art work would be some nice extras I presume =)

2) A live feed would be just awesome! A vid stream, also regular tweets and Facebook updates!

That hands on demo would be just marvelous! Hope you guys can get to it ^^

And thanks for asking for our opinions!

As a former PAX Enforcer I've seen quite a few convention ideas go big and some go bust.

1.) Things that worked or I thought worked at conventions: On an obvious note, SWAG, everyone loves swag. T-shirts, posters, bags, pins, lanyards, stickers. Swag is ALWAYS a big hit. Also, make sure you stock plenty of the larger size t-shirts if you do so.

Trivia contests are nice. I saw several booths run a triva contest for swag or exclusive items or whatever. For the convention volunteer's sake, please keep them short and sweet. Like a quick 3-5 question trivia test every 2 hours on the hour.

Meeting a real Dev is always cool for fans. Yes, the PR people who run those booths full time should get props. (Shout out to Patience, ex-Turbine awesome person) but it's always cool to talk to at least 1 person who's worked on the game, be it code, art, design. Bring stories and ancedotes.

2.) If you can't attend the con, well I like liveblogging, tweets, photos of the booth, etc. Just something to keep those of us who aren't there in the loop.

Idea, on how you can tie it all in? How about a special contest/giveaway item that ties in 1 person at the con and 1 person not there. Not sure how'd that work, but just an idea.

Best of luck at the cons.

I really liked Bungie's Halo: Reach development blog. Maybe something like that? Nothing too heavy, spoiler-wise, of course.

Edmonton needs a gaming convention, there's enough gamers up here in the frozen north... ^_^

But being part of that demographic who can't travel south with you guys, it's always awesome to see video clips that sum up the key points of what was presented.

As someone who can't go I think that just some kickass art work will suffice.
I don't want to know the entire story of ME3 before I get to play it, I'd like some mystery to discover the cool things about it, rather than have it thrown at us from a convention.

Personally I think what we have already is enough to get us excited and ready for it.
When the demo is released that will be great.
For me Mass Effect is all about the discovery, as they do it well.
I don't want to know everything before I play Bioware.

Also we need a Convention in England!

In regards to part 2...I enjoy seeing the cosplayers at the conventions. If you guys have a contest for best ME themed costume I would love to see pics or video coverage of the different costumes. If you also have any celebrities VA's that are kind enough to participate in these conventions I would also like to see them as well. And some live Q&A time from the writers maybe, if they feel up to it.

Yes this is a good point.  Some of those people have done tremendous jobs with their costumes, lots of loving care go into them you can see.

I remember reading about one developer a while back giving away serial keys at their booths that could later be used to reclaim a cosmetic piece of gear for their characters once the game launched.

As a tentative suggestion, maybe you guys could do something similar. Give members of the press a promotional code to include in their convention coverage of ME3. The readers of that coverage see the code, then enter it into the "Redeem Promotional Code" page that you guys already have set up (and hey, you may as well use it seeing as it's already built.) If they enter it within a week of that convention ending, they get a little in-game promotional item linked to their account when the game ships. Maybe a weapon mod, helmet, or piece of memorabilia for Shepard's quarters in the Normandy (like the N7 helm or Firewalker Prothean artifact.) I'm not saying that you should have a unique code for every gaming news-related publication out there; that'd get out of hand pretty quick. Maybe just one code and item per convention. If nothing else, it'd be an interesting experiment in getting people even more interested in ME3 coverage.

1) Lots of activity in terms of monitors, lights, music and other amazing decorations are always a treat to see.
2) No exclusive in-game items for coming to the con but still giving exciting, wonderful real life prizes away.
3) classic Mass Effect music playing constantly.^_^
4) Barely any spoilers, just a few gameplay mechanic reveals would be interesting.
5) Some sort of video to show those of us who weren't there what it was like.

Though I think the best should be saved for E3 in which it should be a wonderful, startling experience!
It's really nice to have a say in this, thanks!:)

Some DETAILS about graphics (who complains about the same engine -> go watch samaritan trailer or read that graphics is going to be on par with Crysis 2 as much as possible)

Some info about Weapon Mechanics and some speculations on capital ship vs reaper combat.
Possibly turret demo.

As for the developers, tastes differ, but:
- Casey Hudson ( Obviously)
- Possibly - Rob Blake (He creating really nice sounds, but tastes differ again)
- Brenon Holmes
- Others

Some kind of small contest on the idea in some aspect of the project.
Ideas collected and studied with a winner that is going to be announced privately, without knowing who is the lucky winner.
How he`ll know? Easy! Create a small reference attached to his idea in the project (for example Gatling Rocket Launcher with first four letters of winner`s name (anything from it) on it (in a very difficult place to find)

Best outcome is to send e-mail from Chris Priestly or other developer like - blah blah blah, look for the reference on your idea *There*, don`t tell this to anyone else :).

Winner will be proud of this.
