Hey guys, does anyone have definitive info on whether the tech damage upgrades add to the +10% weapon damage from the Improved evolution of GSB? That is, if you have say 5 tech upgrades, will you have + 60% weapon damage with Improved GSB on?
Wondering, if I evolve the GSB on my Shottie Engineer to lvl 4, whether to choose Improved or Heavy GSB...

If you're going to take a shield power on the Engineer, take Barrier. Barrier is insta-cast, allowing you to throw it on when staggered (by rockets, flamethrowers, melee, Warp, etc.). This is worlds better than the unnoticeable 10% dmg. boost from GSB.

Barrier is a biotic power though, and I like to RP on this specific Shepard. My question was whether the +10% weapon damage stays +10%. I might end up with just 1 pt in GSB, but if I do evolve it, I'd like to know whether Improved GSB is worth it.

Tech upgrades do not affect the weapon dmg. bonus, no. Improved is not really worth it if you're looking at GSB as a shield refresh.

I guess not. Wouldn't make sense. However, if you plan to evolve into Demolisher, there you get +15% Power Damage.
Upgrades like + Power Damage % affect all powers.
