And if so, why not then?

I've been curious about this for some time.

I got it for free with the PS3 version but I'm buying the 360 version of the game shortly and there's no way I'd skip it. I can't imagine anyone who's a big fan of the series doing so, but I'm sure some have, yeah.

I don't have it. Not a big fan of Liara really. Played it in a friend though, wasn't to impressed how I have to be overly nice with her even though I don't like her at all. Still decent DLC, can't argue.

Considering how many people used to ask:"Is T.I.M. liek teh Shadowborker or sumthing?!"

I'd say you'd have to be exceptionally dense to not get it and find out, or exceptionally poor. Also the best DLC for the game without a doubt.

I feel like I'm alone on this one ; But i wish i never gotten the damn thing.

The only reason to get it is to re-spec your squadmates and "Stasis" , nothing more. Its by far the worst aspect of both ME1 & ME2 . I had written a lengthy (And pointless) rant, I'll spare you guys the nerd rage; I never felt anything profound for Liara , i can only imagine it would have been worst if i did.

Suffice to say that i play LotsB with the volume way down to avoid things like :

Vasir "Did you find your friend's body?"
Liara " you mean this body !"

My eyes rolled back so much i ended up looking at the inside of my skull.

I didn't get Lair of the Shadowbroker... may get it if it drops in price (like by half or more).

I'm just not a DLC person, but they could sway me with a strong financial incentive.

Uh you played Arrival? Everything that was cheesy in LotS was basically x10 in Arrival. And Arrival doesn't even give a you a bonus power or anything to the equivalent of squadmate respec (pretty useful). Just a few more credits and another skin weave I think.

I hope BioWare references these in ME3... I didn't kill 300000 people for nothing, dammit!!

I didn't buy it because I didn't care about Liara in ME1 at all, and the step-up in characterization for ME2 didn't sway me enough to dole out $10 to help her with the Shadow Broker. Months later, though, I've played the kick-ass Overlord DLC and read the heaps of praise being tossed on LotSB. I intend on buying that and Stolen Memories next week.

Never touching Arrival, though.

I didn't buy it because 1.) I really don't play ME2 that much anymore 2.) I didn't feel like spending the money. I'd rather have another stupid little arcade game <3<3 Ah, the Keflings..

I'm kind of surprised that anyone who bought this game would buy any DLC (for this game) other than Lair first.  It just gives you so much more, even if you don't care about Liara.  The others (yes, even Arrival) are all good, but Lair is just amazing.

LotSB is the best mission in ME2 Anyone who voluntarily avoids it is missing out big time.

Ignored Liara in both games, and not compelled to play at this time.

I am grateful she saved me though

How shocking would that have been, if LotSB was playable only after the suicide mission and you went in and found out that the Shadow Broker was actually TIM...?

If you're not buying LOTSB, you might as well not buy ME2.

I can't imagine not playing it, it's bridging DLC and will influence ME3 (as will Arrival). It's a really fun set of missions, not my favourite DLC but certainly worth experiencing at least once (even if you're not a big Liara fan).

LotSB is definitely worth its price:

(1) Believable locations (Dracon Trade Centre, Liara's apartment)
(2) Awesome locations (the SB's ship)
(3) Nice plot (not convincing in everything but....nice)
(4) The car chase
(5) Friendship path with Liara, talking about how Shepard's doing and his/her LI
(6) Interesting fights (Azure parking lot, the SB....not so much)

I could've done without Miranda's dossier, though. That almost ruined the whole thing for me.

To me this is the best ME2 DLC. It's very hard to dream up something bad about it.

It's minor: But the expression on Liara's face rarely turns to happy (which may be explained by the story), but when she has reason to be happy she doesn't look like that. IMO there's something wrong with her facial animations. Still... that isn't enough to call this a bad DLC. Not by a long shot.

I thought it was the best ME2 DLC by a large margin. It also will tie into Mass Effect 3.

I can't imagine not playing it.

I did as I oppose DLC on principle. Unless they come with say an ultimate edition I won't pay for a limited add-on. I has a two expansion limit back in the day when companies would make them. I only bought them like the MW ones that added a whole lot ot the game. Now they leave things out to sell them to you later. Horse barding really. :P
