Simple question really. I'm curious if having a massive pool, but reserving a large portion on sustainables has any draw back besides not being able to cast many skills at once?
Seems that potions and skills that work by % are affected by reserving, what about regeneration?
Does reserving stamina/mana reduce regeneration?

You can't regain more than what is reserved, that is precisely why it is reserved. Potions and Skills are NOT affected by it (as far as I remember), as a potion that restores X amount should restore X amount of the maximum pool, not from the amount left.
The same rule applies to regeneration rate- the amount regenerated per second is not affected by any reseved portion of the pool.
