I don't think that's happen. Kingdom Hearts seems to stay chronologically relevant to a time period. Zack is dead. Then again Areith showed up so maybe he just wasn't thought about when they made KH1AresKeith wrote...
They should bring Zack back tbh

His younger self was in Hercules world in Birth by Sleep, so he could be there again dead
Like Auron, and concerning Areith they better kill her in KH3 to put the time period back on track

Noctis needs to show up before Lightning. I'm tired of Fem Cloud.Enigmatick wrote...
More pre-FF7 characters need to appear in KH, seriously. Only Setzer showed up and his face was all wrong and his line from FF6 was screwed up.

There was also one where he never fought Riku and died, but he confronts Sora towards the end and gets "broken" by Namine
Like I said, Repliku fought Riku after Namine broke his mind. He just sort of got back up and went after Riku, because I think by that time Sora had defeated Marluxia.
Riku's story takes place a while after Sora began his in CoM, and Riku's trying to play catch-up. So when Namine broke Repliku's mind, it doesn't change the course of events where Repliku went after the real Riku.

I hope Auron comes back. Like, I know he dissolves into pyreflies at KHII's end (I love that moment) but I want them to bring him back because it'd be nice to see him in Radiant Garden, trying to make his own story.
Maybe have him, Tidus, Wakka, Rikku, and Yuna get together for a few scenes. That'd be interesting. Course, Tidus and Wakka are like... fifteen in KH1, but KH2 has dialogue saying that Auron is very much Auron from FFX so one has to wonder what the hell's going on for those guys. Not that it's necessarily supposed to be faithful to the source materials, but with KHII's Auron memories moment one has to wonder.
Course, those were all Jecht/Braska moments that played, so meh...
And I'd love for RYP to not be fairies this time around. I get why it was done for KHII (full size adults taking up too much spacing issues) but I didn't like it.
Also, we need Balthier, Kimahri, Basch, Sazh, Vayne, Larsa, Gabranth, Penelo, and Fran along with pre-FF7 characters.
...you know what? Just bring in all the major characters of FFXII.

Ah ok, I wasn't sure
And he does reappear for a short time in Dream Drop Distance so he'd be perfect as one the 13 Seekers of Darkness, along with Vanitas

I just realized that Maleficent and Hades also have gold eyes. They could fall under corruption by Xehanort as well.

Better yet, remodel Maleficent in the game so that she resembles Angelina Jolie, since she will be playing the character in the upcoming live-action film. Lol. XD

I'd be disappointed if Vanitas wasn't brought back as one of the 13
Word of God said that the reason Vanitas was shown in 3D was because Ventus' heart was reacting to the darkness in Xehanort. But he was rather mum on if that was the only reason he showed up.
Still... it does seem to indicate Vanitas may have some part to play. Despite being back in Ventus, he was still his own entity. It's like Xion and Roxas. They'll exist, so Vanitas might as well.

Nah, Nomura wouldn't do that. Maleficent's actually aware of the change in darkness going on and she wants to keep it from interfering with her own plans.
If anything, we'll have more Enemy Mine situations with her like in KHII.
And I hope to see the return of the Council of Villains. Like, Hades revives Jafar (like the Aladdin series did when crossing Hercules and Aladdin in two episodes) and maybe Davy Jones and Ursula and other Disney villains come into the thing, whether again or for the first time.
Seriously, KH3 has the potential to be epic beyond scope, what with a war essentially going on here.

Could be said about lots of games, though it all comes down to the execution of it.
Anyhow, that trailer looked very colorful. The visuals are certainly jaw dropping compared to the other installments. Seriously can't wait!

The series didn't win me over, though. I seriously disliked the mix of Disney and Final Fantasy, and wasn't very touched or even intrigued by the story. I played the first game, and only started to get into it after the Peter Pan section. Flying was kinda cool! I started playing KH2 as well, but stopped shortly after going back to playing Sora. I more or less promised to give the whole series another try once 2.5 is released.
I usually like crossover stuff, but in case of KH it doesn't work for me at all. Combining some of the different Disney properties would already be too much for me, but throwing Final Fantasy in the mix just makes my head (and heart) hurt. I'm looking forward to seeing a more refined version of the KH gameplay in FF15, because that in itself really isn't too bad.

Sora could have gone along with Clu's offer because Clu isn't aware of that detail regarding the keyblade. It's possible that Clu would have gone back on his word and kept Rinzler under mind control regardless, but either way, Sora wouldn't have really lost the keyblade in the first place.

I was telling my brother about that scene in Dream Drop Distance where Clu tells Sora to hand over the keyblade if he wants Rinzler free from mind control. What was odd about that scene was that Sora refuses to hand over the keyblade even though he knows that he can summon it back into his hand.

Sora doesn't negotiate with terrorists!
But yeah, I had the same thought. Either way, it doesn't really matter, as he was still able to get Rinzler back to his senses.
